Continuing with my Las Vegas Football Bar Tour, my mission is to find some of the best places to watch football while getting some good food and drink.

This week, we went to Flowing Tide Pub located at 4680 S. Decatur Ave. I visited on a Sunday to watch the NFL action and there are 10 TV’s located thru out the bar and dining area. So no matter where you sit you will have three or four screens to look at.

They will put whatever game you want on the TV for you. They will also play the audio from the main game. I hate going into a sports bar that isn’t playing the audio of a least one game, so no problem here.

Now that we are set with our viewing situation, it’s time to order some cold adult drinks. Flowing Tide offers some great game day specials. They have $4 Modelo draft beers, Corona Beer buckets for $25, Miller Lite Pints for $3, $4 Sam Adams and if you are still hungover from the night before, they have Game Day Absolut Bloody Mary’s for $6.

With our beverages taken care of it’s time to get some grub. Flowing Tide Pub offers several Game Day food specials. You can get five wings and fries for just $5. Or get 20 wings and fries for $13.99 or Asada Cheese Fries for $13.99.

The star of the Game Day Specials was the Sample Platter. For $15.99 you got all of the following: Four cheeseburger sliders, 8 chicken wings, four chicken tenders, six mozzarella sticks and a mound of fries. I shared this with another guy and we are two big guys with big appetites and couldn’t finish all of it. So it’s a heck of a bargain for the price and the food was very good.

The wings were spot on and cooked just right. The sliders were excellent as well. The Nachos are amazing and comes in two sizes. If you order the large you better have least two buddies with you. I had the small order of Chicken Nachos and couldn’t finish it. The Nachos are piled high and loaded with toppings. I like my Nachos with actual melted cheese, not cheese sauce. Some people prefer it the other way but that’s not me and these came with lots of melted real cheese.

The menu has a wide selection of foods, from all your normal bar foods to pastas and seafood specialties. They have darts, Golden Tee and a pool table for your entertainment. Flowing Tide holds a weekly free Poker Tournament in the bar on Wednesday nights.

Flowing Tide Pub is a great place to watch the games and have some good food. I give it a rating of 3.75 Forks.
