No. 7 Icatiro won a $16K starter allowance race just one race back and is the stalemate if P R Radio Star. No. 8 Around the Dial ships in and looks live with the hit riding Joe Talamo riding. 4-7-1-8
Race 2
$16K Arkansas bred maiden fillies and mares travel 1 1/16 miles. This is one bad group. No. 6 Ella’s My Girl drops back in at this level. Look for a big effort today at this level, No. 10 Mocha Kiss drops in with maiden claimers for the first time and could wake up. 6-10
Race 3
$8K claimers go six furlongs. No. 3 Ah Yeah gets a big drop in class, at 15-1 on the morning line we must use. No. 6 Admiral Brown drops a notch and will be tough at this level. 6-3
Race 4
$16K fillies and mares travel 1 1/16 miles. No. 1 Weekend Madness comes off a 10-length maiden win, her last work was very good, No. 9 Big Affair comes off the layoff and makes her first start with claimers, she owns a big last work. No. 4 Southern Cents is where she belongs after hooking $80K optional girls last out. 1-9-4
Race 5
$6,250 claimers go six furlongs. No. 10 Clay Magic at 12-1 on the morning line, drops off the Robertino Diodoro claim. Look for him to show his early speed at this level. No. 6 Dark Arden seems to run every other race, this is his big race. No. 5 Pocket Personality gets his second start here and second off the layoff. The blinkers go on and he will find a fast early pace to set up his late run. 5**-6-10
Race 6
$30K claimers travel 1 1/16 miles. There is a lot of early speed in this race and that will send us looking for runners that can sit off the expected hot pace, No. 3 Oro de Tejano ships in for Tom Amoss and gets top jock Joe Talamo up. He will make a big late run at the tiring speed. No. 5 Shining Through seems to have found a wake up spot. No. 6 Verve Humor comes off the layoff and he won here last year at this distance. 3-5-6
Race 7
$30K claimers travel a flat mile. No. 1 Dunph drops off the claim, we like Martin Garcia riding for trainer Joe Sharp who takes the blinkers off, a big last work is noteworthy. No. 11 Light Hawk looks set third off the layoff and getting back to a flat mile. 1** – 11
Race 8
$80K optional 3-year-old fillies travel a flat mile. Brad Cox sends out two live runners, No. 9 Evil Lyn off back-to-back turf wins at the Fairgrounds and No.7 Dreamalildreamofu is off a big maiden win on the grass last out, also at the Fairgrounds. No. 2 Strong Flag comes off a big maiden win here and has not put in a bad effort in her three race career. 2-7-9
Race 9
$50K optional claimers go six furlongs. No. 2 Nifty gets his second start off the layoff and a good second here last out. No. 4 Candy Cornell comes off a huge win last out vs. $90K allowance runners, he has run three straight big races at the meet. No. 5 Malpais who is 20-1 on the morning line, gets some class relief, he is a first time gelding and the speed. 2-4-5
Race 10
Maiden fillies and mares go six furlongs. Bob Baffert has won with two of his three starters at the meet and he sends out No. 2 Inshannity. Peter Miller ships in No. 4 Lil Miss Moppet who gets off the grass. Trainer Steve Asmussen sends out two live first time starters, No. 1 Ready N Waiting and No. 8 Offering. 2-8-4-1
