No. 10 Keepinmypromise looks like a nice price play as she gets her second try on the grass and Prat will jump on today. 2-10

Race 4

$40k optional fillies and mares go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Road Rager looks the controlling speed as she comes off a big maiden win last out. No. 3 Del Mar May is back in town after a trip to Churchill Downs last May to run in the Grade 2 Eight Belles. She has run here two times and finished second in both. No. 6 Message gets Drayden Van Dyke up and owns a big last work. 1-3-6

Race 5

$40k 3yo fillies travel a mile on the grass. No. 4 Seaside Dancer is well named to run here, she has won 5 of her 11 starts and will be on or near the pace. No. 10 Posh Holly will sit off the pace and make one late run. 4-10

Race 6

2yo maidens go six furlongs. No. 1 Ancient Warrior is a first time starter with a string of bullet works. No. 7 Garth gets Bob Baffert’s go to rider Van Dyke up today. Baffert ran him in the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity here back in September, before that he lost at .20 cents on the dollar and now Van Dyke gets the call off of back-to-back five furlong works and that is the tell. 7***-1


Race 7

80k optional 3yo travel a mile on the grass, No. 2 Rijeka gets some class relief as he comes back to the West Coast, No. 5 Hartel is the speed and is wheeled back by Peter Miller in just 8 days. No. 8 More Ice is a good fit and has won two times here. No. 9 Shining Through is in good form and will be in the hunt down the lane. 2-5-8-9

Race 8

We get a field of six in the Grade 3 Native Diver at 1-1/8 on the dirt. The well regarded No. 4 Roadster just missed by a nostril last out in the Damascus at Santa Anita and now he gets to go long again. We love him in this spot as he will sit off a hot pace and blast home down the lane. 4

Race 9

$62,500 maidens travel 1-1/16 on the grass and this race is wide open. No. 2 Fivestar Lynch drops from straight maiden races and makes his first start as a gelding and Flavien Prat will ride for Richard Baltas. Trainer Peter Eurton is trying everything with No. 4 Turn the Switch as he puts blinkers on and Lasix and making his first start as a gelding. No. 8 Peytons Path just missed last out and is the stablemate of Fivestart Lynch. No. 9 Friendly Outthedor drops and is the stablemate of Turn the Switch. 2-4-8-9
