Race 5

Maiden fillies and mares go seven furlongs. Trainer Bob Baffert sends out two runners starting with No. 3 Happier, a first-time starter that cost $800K and jockey Flavien Prat will ride. Baffert’ s other runner is No. 5 Himiko, who will love this trip. 3-5

Race 6

$40K optional claimers travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 3 Salvator Mundi comes off a big win last out when going a flat mile on the grass. He will be very tough in here. No. 6 Tiberious Mercurius gets jockey Flavien Prat riding today off the maiden win. 3***-6

No. 4 Cali Dude looks live off the layoff. No. 7 Summer Fire was just claimed for $50K and this is a good sign that the connections put him in this claim proof spot. No. 8 Square Deal won the $100K I’m Smokin here last year and now makes his first start as a gelding. 3-4-7-8

Race 8

Maiden 2-year-old fillies travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 1 Ivy League has been working lights out for her debut. No. 3 Basilia will like the longer trip today and has a big last work. No. 6 Madone and No. 9 She’s a Lil Flirt are part of a strong Simon Callaghan uncoupled entry. 1**-3-6-9

Race 10

$62,500 maidens travel a flat mile on the grass. First time starter No. 9 Huge Bigly looks very live first out vs. a suspect group. No. 4 Railsplitter looks to rebound off a poor effort and the blinkers go on in what looks like a wake-up spot. 9-4

Race 11

$8K fillies and mares travel a flat mile. No. 4 Atina looks to own a pace advantage on the drop to this level and she won in her only start here. No. 6 Majestic Diva fits at this level and she ran good here in the past. 4**-6
