We start the day with a very tough downhill turf sprint for $32k claimers. No. 6 Infinite Magic gets a turn back in distance off a two month layoff for Mullins who is having a good meet with limited runners. No. 8 Tripski is back in town from New York and gets his second start off the David Jacobson claim, this trainer is due to break through. 6-8

Race 2

$20k maidens go the tough distance of 7 furlongs, No. 5 Captain Carchy is an eleven time loser but has 5 seconds and 3 thirds from those eleven starts and finds a real soft group of $20k maidens. No. 7 Blue Law gets a big drop in class by Hess who puts the new bug girl Rosie Higgins up (she is Kent Desormeaux’s wife), this 4yo gelding has big early speed and gets off the grass, Rosie may just need to hang on. 5-7

Race 3

No. 6 Xerxes beat several runners that are in the second race, so keep an eye out on how the perform. This one has speed and is properly spotted off the maiden win. No. 9 Heavenly Haze lost at 3/2 last out but has come back to work a sizzling five furlongs best of 42 working that day. No. 10 Rolo Tamaci drops and gets blinkers on and the price will be right. 6-9-10

Race 4

No. 11 Undeniable U looks like a solid single in the pick five, he changed his style last time out coming from well off the pace, bet him to cash. No. 9 Dare to Believe exits a key race and gets Mike Smith, he could be a huge price. 11****-9

Win and place 11 and an exacta 11-9

Race 5

No. 1 Tiz Dynamic move from the grass to the dirt and has a big last work here on the 17th a must use on the drop. No. 3 A Colt Following just won going a mile on the dirt and will like this 7 furlong distance. No. 4 Where Y’at Joe Joe drops for trainer Keith Desormeaux and his bro Kent rides. 1-3-4

Race 6

Down the hill they go again, No. 2 Wade comes off a big maiden win and may take to this course. No. 9 It Is Living Water gets his first start off the Peter Miller claim and he ran good in all three of his downhill turf starts with two seconds and a third, Prat fits like a glove. No. 11 Johns Journey moves from the rail to the outside and will go much better today. 2-9-11

Race 7

No. 5 Logan’s Moon gets Mike Smith back on for Peter Eurton, the two times he rode this 6yo gelding he finished second. No. 8 Wolf Man Rocket never ran a step last out at 8/5, he has worked like he is ready to roll today second off the layoff. 5-8

Race 8

THE GRADE II SANTA MONICA GOING 7 FURLONGS ON THE DIRT

No. 3 Kiss At Midnight loves this 7 furlong distance with 2 wins and a 2nd from her three tries, Gary Stevens gets the call. No. 6 Room for Me is back in town after a successful trip to New York, she loves this course with 3 wins and a second from four starts here. 3-6

Race 9

We have two runners exiting the same race No. 8 Lymebyrd who was a troubled 4th and No. 9 Reliable Source who was a fast closing 3rd after a slow start. No. 12 True Brilliance exits our HTW list off of back to back seconds, we will use all three in the late pick four. 8-9-12

Race 1

No. 3 Curly Boy gets off the grass and back to his best game. No. 5 Hittheroadrunning exits the same race.

Race 2

No. 4 Spartan Strength ships in from Del Mar and gets off the grass, he can wake up in this spot. No. 6 Junior G Man is 0-14 but fins a group he can beat with Baze getting back on. 4-6

Race 3

We will use three runners exiting the same race, No. 2 Go Mojave Go with the rider upgrade. No. 3 Johnnie B who was a close 4th as he came back on late and No. 6 Tribal Dude who just missed by 3/4 of a length. 2-3-6

Race 4

No. 4 An Unusual Group gets her first start off the Hollendorfer claim and she fits like a glove at this level. No. 5 Tiz Partners and No. 7 Esperanza Latina both exit the same race and they could run 1-2-3 in here. 4-5-7

Race 5

No. 5 Slew’s Chet is the only first time starter in this very soft group of $8k maidens. No. 7 Financial ships in from Santa Anita and gets a big drop by Wong, he is the one to beat at a short price. 5-7

Race 6

No. 3 Khalaya made a big late rally last time out and has a nice work since. No. 5 B C Z Middleton will be out winging on the front end. No. 6 Blazing Valentine beat both last time out. 3-5-6

Race 7

No. 2 Analysis Paralysis looks to have found her level. No. 8 Bushida gets back to a sprint and that make her a player except for her 1-21 record. 2-8

Race 8

No. 3 U S Citizen gets his second start on this course. We think he is the key player and will use him first and second with No. 7 Fly Boy Roy, No. 8 Awesome Silver and No. 10 Tiz Point. 3**-7-8-10

Key trifecta 3 with 7-8-10 with 7-8-10 and 7-8-10 with 3 with 7-8-10 

Race 9

We will make a one way call here and that is No. 7 Off the Deep End wire-to-wire on the big drop in class by Sherman with Baze getting the call, our single in the late pick four. 9
