No. 2 Classico exits the same race and was a length in front of Tough But Nice. No. 4 Bolitar gets his first start off the O’Neill claim and the big maiden breaker. 1-2-4

Race 2

No. 1 Unbridled Rocket is sitting on the maiden breaker, he lost by a dwindling head last out and may have found a group he can beat. No. 5 Thorn Legacy comes off a good second in his first start and could give Chantal her first win at the meet. 1-5

Race 3

Down the hill they go in this 3yo filly maiden race. No. 3 Fourth Watch was a $600k Spendthrift Farm purchase, nothing thrifty about that, she makes her first start off of so so works but must be a great looker. No. 10 Albeit has had his chances but gets another shot down the hill and finds little to beat. No. 12 Smart Win gets a great post for his second start and first on the grass, that last work says go.

THE GRADE III ROBERT B. LEWIS WITH 10 KENTUCKY DERBY POINTS

Baffert sends out No. 5 Mor Spirit who is on most bettors top ten KD contenders list, he comes off a huge win in the Grade I Los Al Futurity and now makes his 3yo debut, his stablemate No. 1 Let’s Meet in Rio comes off a fast closing 2nd vs. another Baffert runner in the Grade III Sham, this colt is bred to run all day.

THE GRADE II LAS VIRGENES

No. 3 Street Fancy comes off a big win in the Grade I Starlet and she just missed in the Desi Arnaz, she is a runner and D’Amato has her cranked for a top run again. No. 6 Songbird is the now horse and is looking to stay unbeaten and she comes off that easy win in the BC Juvenile Filly race which garnered her top 2yo filly honors. 6**-3

Race 6

No. 2 Lovenseek has been very popular at the claim box and now gets his first start off the $50k Hollendorfer claim, he has won 3 of his 4 starts at this mile turf distance. No. 8 Tuco has good speed and will move forward in this his second start in the states. No. 12 Dylan Ward finally got the win when sent out as a first time gelding last out, he knows what to do now and he exits our HTW list. 2-8-12

THE GRADE II $500K SAN ANTONIO

No. 5 Hoppertunity just seems to get a piece of the pie and is a must use in the exotics. No. 8 El Kabeir gets another try on the West Coast for trainer John Terranova, he will like the longer distance. 5-8

THE $200K GRADE II SAN MARCOS

No. 3 Chiropractor won the Grade I Del Mar Derby and then never ran a step in the San Gabriel, we look for a rebound. No. 7 Flamboyant was the one who won the San Gabriel. 3-7

Race 9

We end this big day at Santa Anita with maiden 3yo going 6 furlongs. No. 7 Ten Blessings is a Baffert first time starter with Bejarano riding and Bejarano has been deadly in this last race of late, No. 9 Journey by Sea is the stablemate of Ten Blessings and he made his debut vs Nyquist, he makes his first start for Baffert. No. 11 Driven West is out of the dam Abba Gold who has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters and is part of the 3 horse uncoupled Baffert entry. 7-9-11

No. 3 Comanche Ruler is on a win every other race pattern and this is his win race. No. 4 Inexcess Again is the speed. No. 6 Hunted Guy will also be on or right off the hot Inexcess Again pace. 3-4-6

Race 6

Need to go four deep in this mile race for straight maidens using No. 5 Access This off a near miss first out. No. 6 Joueur who finished right behind Access This. No. 8 Super Hawk who missed by a half length in his first start on this circuit and No. 9 Gio Mio the Santa Anita invader for Sherman. 5-6-8-9

Race 7

THE $50K CALIFORNIA OAKS

3yo fillies travel 1-1/16 in the Cal Oaks. No. 1 Code Warrior comes back to the Gate off a near miss in the Grade II Santa Ynez, she is undefeated on this course. No. 7 My Dynamo exits the same race and has a bullet last work. No. 9 Kiss N Scat could be this good off her huge win last out. 1-7-9

Race 8

No. 4 Elmonte Cristo gets his first start off the Jack Steiner claim, he will show all of his early speed today. No. 7 Red Creme beat Elmonte last out and he also beat No. 8 Krsto Skye, both of whom will try and turn the tables. 4-7-8
