Maiden 3yo $50k claimers go six furlongs. No. 2 Calvert Street ran his best race last out and now gets a break in the weights with David Lopez getting the call. Trainer Mike Puype sends out two here. No. 7 Nat’s Nation who gets Prat and drops from a straight maiden race and first time starter No. 8 Gutsy Effort who looks live. 2-7-8

Race 3

THE $200K GRADE TWO ARCADIA

In the turf mile Arcadia No. 1 Om is a perfect 3 for 3 on this course and 2 for 2 at this distance. Trainer Phil D’Amato has been super when running two in a turf race and he sends out No. 2 Cape Wolfe who gets stretched out in this his second start in the states and the very fast No. 6 Obviously who gets Mike Smith today. No. 7 Prospect Park makes his 4yo debut and could be this good. 1-2-6-7

Race 4

No. 2 Sensitively looks the speed of the speed in here and will be playing catch me if you can. No. 4 Blushing Angel will be the one they will need to fear late if able to get a good trip with Espinoza riding. No. 7 Sweetrayofsunshine is a win machine winning 6 of her 9 starts here, she gets her first start off the Ted West claim. 2-4-7

Race 5

Maiden 3yo fillies go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Dancing Ava ran a nice even race in her first start when finishing 4th behind No. 10 Always Believe who exits our HTW list. 2-10

Race 6

Down the hill they go in this $25k claimer. No. 7 Tripski gets his second start on this circuit and second down the hill, he drops and Bejarano gets on board today. No. 8 Rangi has speed and owns two wins down the hill, Prat who was on Tripski last time out now gets on Rangi. No. 12 Apollo Ten will be the price play form off the pace. 1-8-12

Race 7

No. 1 Sleepwalker exits out HTW list, he has been hanging of late but today Bejarano gets the call and will try and keep him going late. The last time we said No. 2 Calculator was when he won the Grade III Sham Stakes here last year, he has been working like he is ready to start his 4yo campaign. No. 7 Fusaichi Samurai won at first asking for Baffert at .90 cents on the dollar. 1-2-7

THE $200K GRADE II SANTA MARIA

Mike Smith gets back on No. 3 Birdatthewire who he rode to a win in the Grade I LaBrea. No. 9 Tara’s Tango comes off a neck loss in the Grade II Santa Monica. 3-9

Race 9

We have maiden 3yo fillies going 1-1/8 miles on the grass, not an easy was to end the day. No. 1 Last Resort gets his second off the layoff and will like the trip. No. 3 Lottie missed by a neck going 1-1/16 on the grass at Keeneland and ran 4th at Del Mar going a mile on the grass when bet down to even money. No. 7 Lady Valeur exits our HTW list as a $$$$$ play, she will love the stretchout. No. 10 Tinderella also exits our HTW list off a narrow loss here in her last start going a mile on the grass. No. 11 Candy Genovesa finished right behind her in that race. After its all said and done we will use the 3-7

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 4 Pulpit Hanna moves up a notch off the 3rd place finish but Morey knows what he is doing. No. 5 Sugar Cane Royalty will be part of the early pace. No. 6 Patti D’ Marie comes off the win and the Wong claim. 4-5-6

Race 2

No. 2 Midnight Bolt gets back to his favorite track in this first off the layoff. No. 5 Pulmarack looks set for his best in this his second off the layoff, he had a troubled trip last time out. No. 6 Born to Serve is the speed. 2-5-6

Race 3

No. 2 Khalaya has run just one bad race when she was put way over her head, she will be right there again today. No. 6 Little Miss Hottie exits the same race as does the speedy No. 4 B C Z Middleton.

No. 6 Pathway to Yes drops to his lowest level trying to cash. Juan Hernandez gets back on No. 7 Sir Gawain who he rode for a win one race back. 6-7

Race 5

No. 4 Next Speaker is a five time winner on this course and comes off a good second last out, we will single. 4

Race 6

Trainer Graham Motion and jockey Van Dyke are in town for the El Camino and they also hook up with No. 1 Street Fashion in this 1-1/8 race, look for a big effort. No. 6 Lucky Views is in tip top form and looks the one to beat. 1-6

Race 7

THE $200K GRADE III EL CAMINO REAL DERBY

As we said Graham Motion and Van Dyke hook up with No. 2 Kasseopia who comes here from Woodbine via GB, he looks ready to roll. Trainer Paddy Gallagher brings in the Irish import No. 5 Oscar Dominguez. Trainer Doug O’Neill sends out No. 12 Frank Conversation with Mario Gutierrez, they won the Cal Derby with Frank. 2-5-12

Race 8

No. 3 Yahoo Tahoe is a 7 time winner here and comes off a nice win last out when beating No. 1 Bolita Boyz. No. 6 Tribal Dude has won 3 of his 5 starts here and has a big last work. 1-3-6

Race 9

3yo $25k maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs, Steve Sherman sends out the very live first time starter No. 2 Hewearsthefoxhat. No. 4 Telluric drops from straight maidens and has a fast last work. No. 7 Compadre Sam also drops from straight maidens and he exits a key race off the layoff. No. 8 Sunrise Sermon is in from Turf Paradise, he exits a good race and will be the speed along with No. 9 Johann’s Command who drops in with maiden claimers. No. 10 Tuscan Warrior is the stablemate of foxhat and will be charging late. 2-4-7-8-9-10
