SANTA ANITA

Race 1

Just too many question marks in the opener to get excited about any one runner, we really  need to hit the all button but the best of the runners on paper is once again No. 3 Sweeter Thancandy a fourteen time loser who lost at 6/5 last time out. She will be the chalk again and Bejarano sticks. 3

Race 2

No. 3 Sister of Mercy gets stretched out and drops, this trainer hits at .40% when dropping a runner 2 or more classes. No. 4 Miz Graycee gets back on the dirt and will go much better. No. 5 Kelbaker is the speed and will be playing catch me if you can. 3-4-5

Race 3

$50k maidens go a mile on the dirt. No. 2 Two the Punch will show all of his early speed and if left alone could get very brave. No. 3 Speed Check drops in form straight maidens. No. 4 Fashionly Handsome is a first timer for Baltas with a big last work, he is live. 2-3-4

Race 4

Fillies and mares go a1-1/4 on the grass. No. 3 Moon Over Paris exits our HTW list off a near miss last out, Prat is back on and he is riding great. No. 7 Holograeme also exits our HTW list and exits the same race as Moon Over Paris, a race in which she had trouble. 3-7

Race 5

We will take a shot in here and use the uncoupled Steve Miyadi entry with No. 2 The Silent One who gets blinkers on and a nice jock switch to Santiago Gonzalez and first time starter No. 4 Mr. Congrats with Prat getting the call. 2-4

Race 6

No. 4 Ready To Hula Lula looks like a great play today. She was well bet and well meant in her first start when showing speed but tiring late. She looks ready to go all the way today. No. 5 Spread the Joy gets off the grass and ran ok in her two dirt races. 4-5

Exacta box 4-5 and win and place 4

Race 7

No. 1 All Star Bub last won back in May of last year when jockey Bejarano rode her, he gets back aboard today. No. 3 Divina Comedia and No. 5 Show Stealer both exit the same race as All Star Bub. 1-3-5

Exacta box 1-3-5 and win and place 1

Race 8

Maiden 3yo travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 6 Schiller Diller is by the great turf miler Artie Schiller, this first timer could surprise. No. 7 Insubordination is a first time starter for the Desormeaux connections. Kent is also listed on No. 11 Que Chistoso who is on the also list and who also exits our HTW list, he would be our play if he draws in. 6-7-(11**).

CHECK FOR LATE SCRATCHES AND CHECK THAT THE SADDLE CLOTH  NUMBERS MATCH OUR SELECTION NUMBERS.
