SANTA ANITA
Race 1
$50k 3yo claimers travel a mile on the grass. No. 2 Colour Me Happy drops in this his second start in the states as he searches for his correct level. No. 3 Last One Standing exits the same race and gets the bug boy David Lopez. 2-3
Race 2
No. 1 Knock Em Flat drops and is the speed on the rail, he will try and take them wire-to-wire. No. 4 Luckbox Sam also drops and will be right on the tail of Knock Em Flat, these two could circle the field together. 1-4
Race 3
3yo maiden fillies run for a price tag of $75k and we doubt that any are worth that amount as this is one bad looking group. No. 1 Oh Great Idea does have some good early speed and good connections. No. 3 Foxy Fresh had just one race and also showed some good early foot. No. 6 Midnight Swinger is the only first time starter and she gets the service of the hot riding Prat and a good post. 1-3-6
Race 4
Down the hill they go we think. No. 6 Lucy De just missed going a mile on the grass last out and will love going down the hill. No. 7 Algorhythmic just missed down the hill one start back. No. 8 Rebarules Again gets her second try down the hill after a trouble first trip. 6-7-8
Exacta box 6-7-8 and win and place 6
Race 5
No. 2 Take It Easyplease looks like a solid single in the players pick five and the big pick six carryover today. She had done little wrong in her last seven starts with 3 wins and 4 seconds. Her main danger will come from No. 7 Cheekaboo who gets back on the dirt. 2**-7
Race 6
No. 5 Media Melee looks perfectly spotted by O’Neill off the maiden win. No. 6 Shinny Nugget gets back Valdez who rode him for his maiden score. 5-6
Race 7
No. 1 Warrenscrystalized one win came down the hill when breaking form post position number one. No. 2 Bako Sweets just broke her maiden at first asking in a rousing performance, she is bred for the grass. 1-2
Race 8
$20k maiden 4yo and up fillies and mares go 6-1/2 furlongs on the dirt. Bejarano sticks around to ride No. 6 Gymnast Jadie who drops from a straight maiden race and gets off the grass. No. 9 Lizzy’s Tizzy ran solid in her first try and then had a tough trip last out, we will give her another shot. No. 10 Feather Spirit looks live at first asking. 6-9-10
