SANTA ANITA

Race 1

This is one bad $25k claimer for fillies and mares and none would surprise. No. 6 Moonie may be best on the drop down and Prat getting the call.

6 ( all)

Race 2

High priced 3yo fillies go down the hill. No. 1 Compel comes back quick for Baltas and his got to jock Bejarano gets on today on the drop in class. No. 3 Amber Louise is the only filly in here who owns a win down the hill and she did it in her last start wire-to-wire. 1-3

Race 3

$16k claimers go 1-1/16 on the dirt. No. 2 Miz Graycee gets her first start off the win and Hess claim, No. 5 Odisseia drops and looks the speed of he speed. No. 6 Midnight Candy also drops and will go much better at this level. 2-5-6

Race 4

No. 1 Hail Mary Play comes off the claim and the big win and it’s a good sign that they put her in this claim proof starter allowance race. No. 4 Sooner Time ran right behind the Hail Mary Play last time out and she gets her first start off the Cerin claim. No. 6 Amazing Lady just broke her maiden for $50k and looks to be placed very well. 1-4-6

Race 5

$25k claimers go down the hill in the last leg of the players pick five. No. 1 Infinite Magic ran a good second in his one try down the hill and the drop to this level can only help his chances today. No. 6 Atta Boy Pete has been solid down the hill and is a perfect fit and the one to beat on the front end. No. 9 Tripski is wheeled back in just six days off the Peter Miller claim, he gets a huge hike in class but did run good sprinting on the grass back East with better. 1-6-9

Race 6

No. 2 Prime Issue lost by a nostril in his last start going 1-1/16 and now is dropped into this 6 furlong sprint a distance he has never won at, we will use but only in the back end. No. 5 Atascadero will be our play off the big maiden score when well bet. 5**-2

Race 7

No. 3 Distinctive B gets a little hike off the nice win here on March 13th, his last work says he is still on edge. No. 5 Roy H will try and take them wire-to-wire. 3-5

Race 8

We end the late pick four with a mile turf race for fillies and mares. No. 4 Unusual Style ran a good race last out at this mile turf distance and now she gets the hot riding Edwin Maldanado. No. 9 Be Mine broke her maiden first out of the box at Tampa back in February when will bet, she makes her way West and lands in the top barn of Phil D’Amato, she is the one to beat and may be a great single. 4-9

Exacta box 4-9 and win and place 9

Pick four

5th 1-6-9

6th 2-5

7th 3-5

8th 9
