NOTE: Due to excessive heat warnings first post will go at 12 noon!

Race 1

In this mile turf race we have two runners exiting our HTW list and we will use both in the pick five. No. 4 Fin de Semaine who comes off a good win and gets his first start off the Keith Desormeaux claim and No. 6 Sea Cat who blasted home on the grass in his first try going long and first on the grass. No. 5 All Star Parade gets a huge jock switch and looks like a player. Tyler Baze will be gunning No. 1 New Summit from the rail. 1-4-5-6

Race 2

2yo maiden 50k claimers go 4-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Grass and Cactus is in from Turf Paradise where he was in tough, we think he is very live and will take our shot and single in the pick five. 1

Race 3

No. 1 Grandma’s Hands exits our HTW list as a $$$ play off a nose loss in her first on this circuit last out when probably best, the rest all get class relief, we will side with Grandma and take another shot. 1

Race 4

Maiden 75k 3yo fillies go 6-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Royal Flush Babe is a first-time starter out of the dam Ardmore Prospect who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. No. 5 Audacious Angel exits our HTW list and gets the needed drop in class and off the grass. No. 6 Always Dangerous exits the same race as the Angel. 3-5-6

Race 5

40k maiden 3yo go six furlongs. No. 1 Yes Master showed big early speed in his one start when sent off at 5/2 last year at Del Mar, he looks ready to roll. No. 6 Y O L O Cat is a first-time starter out of the dam Rose Amarilla who has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters. No. 7 Rideo also comes off the layoff and will sprint for the first-time, he gets a good post and Prat for the comeback. No. 9 Papa Papa Papa is another off the layoff and he showed good early speed last year. 1-6-7-9

Race 6

No. 1 Cover Song exits our HTW list off a nice win down the hill in her first on the grass, she will go a flat mile today off a bullet work. No. 6 Nine Point Nine also exits our HTW list and gets Bejarano today. 1-6

Race 7

16k claimers go six furlongs, on paper this one is very tough. No. 3 Ain’t Misbehavin comes off a big win at the 8k level and gets a confident boost in class off the Miyadi claim, after him we need to hit the all button. 3 (all)

Race 8

No. 3 Stays in Vegas is one tough cookie winning 5 of her 7 starts and she is 2 for 2 on this course including her last race when she won the Grade III Senorita. No. 4 Decked Out finished right behind Vegas in that race and may like the extra 1/8 of a furlong today. 3-4

Race 9

20k maidens go 6-1/2 furlongs in real doozy to end the day. No. 5 Cheap O Charlie gets back to a sprint after trying a mile, we always use Kent D when he is riding in the last race and he makes a rare ride for low profile trainer Jesus Mendoza on No. 7 My Son John who will wake up in this spot. No. 9 Dig for Gold gets his second start off a better than looked first effort, he can only move forward with Tyler getting the call today. Jockey Jamie Theriot has moved his tact to the West and gets on first-time starter No. 12 Make a Million for Steven Miyadi. Bob Baffert sends out first-time starter No. 13 Bundesliga and he is a big danger with first-time maiden claimers. 5-7-9-12-13

Dime super box 5-7-9-12-13
