Race 1

Statebred maiden 50k 2yo go five furlongs, this is one of those 2yo races where anyone of the 7 runners could win. No. 3 Downside Up was sent off at even money in his one start on a wet track finishing 4th in a six horse field, maybe a fast track will help him out, after that its hit the all button or watch the betting.

Race 2

No. 2 Arewehavingfunyet blasted home to break her maiden last out when dropped in for 30k and now Baltas puts her in this claim proof starter race, we like her chances and Prat gets the call today with Bejarano who rode her last time out opts for No. 7 Brookes All Mine, we will use both in the pick five. 2-7

Race 3

No. 1 Dis Smart Cat gets back to a sprint after trying a mile, she just did fail to last at .70 cents on the dollar. No. 3 Tuscany Beauty has been blasting bullets for this race, if able to sit chilly off the hot pace she will have a big shot. 1-3

Race 4

20k maiden 3yo go six furlongs, this is one bad field and most of these could not win at Pleasanton. No. 6 Aidan’s Hope has run second in his last two starts but will be a very short price. No. 8 Thespian is the only first-time starter in here and gets the bug boy Lindsay, he is the one we like the best. 6-8

Exacta box 6-8 and win and place 8

Race 5

No. 1 Magical Touch gets her first start off the Richard Baltas claim, she has done little wrong in her three starts with two wins and a second, Jamie Theriot looks for his first win out West. No. 3 Flexible Ethics gets her second start off the O’Neil claim, she likes to win races. 1-3

Pick five

1st all

2nd 2-7

3rd 1-3

4th 8

5th 1-3

Race 6

2yo maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Klimt gets his second start for Baffert off a nice even fourth first out at 9/5. No. 10 Bourque gets his second start, he finished second at .70 cents on the dollar in his first start and has a nice last work. 1-10

Race 7

We get 3yo and up maidens going 5-1/2 furlongs, D’Amato and Prat hook up with first-time starter No. 2 Magik Pepper who has been working like the real deal, D’Amato also sends out comebacker No. 4 Pee Wee Reese who was well bet in his one start last December. 2-4

Race 8

They go five furlongs in this 20k optional claimer with a purse of 61k. No. 1 Tribal Fighter won like the 3/2 shot he was bet down to last out. No. 4 Big Howdy won at first asking when sent off at 7/5. 1-4

Race 9

In the last race we find a real nice group of 40k optional claimers going 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Power Jam comes off the layoff for Baffert and that last work says he is on go. No. 5 Alright Alright was very highly regarded before getting injured, he beat Firing Line when breaking his maiden, he comes back off a long layoff but his works say he is ok. No. 10 Annie’s Candy gets his second start off the layoff and first as a gelding, he was chasing Nyquist last year. 3-5-10

Exacta box 3-5-10
