We start this huge 13 race card with the hope of NO RAIN, in here just in case No. 1 Mineswept won going this distance in the mud here last year, No. 3 Global Power had his race and his maiden breaker came going 7 furlongs. No. 13 Truelee Scrappin won here in his last start going 7 furlongs and he has won three for four at this distance. 1(mud)-3-13

Race 2

No. 3 Fire On Ice has a big work for his debut so does No. 1 Our Entourage and his stablemate No. 1a Never On Time. 1-3

Race 3

No. 6 Coach Royal has a good race over the turf course here at this distance when a fast closing fourth, No. 7 School Spirit worked fast over the turf training track when best of 20 on August 18th he looks live for trainer Chad Brown. No. 9 Seve exits the same race as Coach Royal, he didn’t finish up well that day but will go better this time around with the race under his belt. No. 12 Daddy Nose Best ran big when stretched out on the grass here on July 30th finishing second despite a troubled trip. 6-7-9-12

Race 4

Solis gets back aboard No. 2 Hanson Heights and he won with this 4yo gelding the last two times he was on board, No. 11 Giarixa exits the same race as Hanson and his last win came at this 20k claiming price on the grass. 2-11

Race 5

No. 2 Try To Catch Her has a good 5 furlong work for this and her dam has dropped two winners from two starters, No. 4 Stellabymoonlight worked good here on August 21st, she was well bet in her debut race at Churchill Downs when breaking slow, the filly who won that race came back to score again in her next start. J R rides No. 5 Wee Party a first time starter for Bill Mott and her dam has dropped three winners from three starters including a stakes winner. No. 7 Miss Netta is a first time starter whose dam has dropped six winners from six starters including two stakes winners. No. 10 Mi Vida had a rough trip in her one and only here on August 4th. 2-4-5-7-10

Race 6

No. 2 Sextant has a win over this 5½ furlong turf course last year, she won her last start going six furlongs on the Belmont turf course off the layoff and looks ready to fire again. 2

Race 7

No. 1 Seattle Mission has hit the board in all four of his starts here including a fast closing second last time out, No. 6 Fizzano is in top form and will be right there with Dominguez riding back. No. 8 Atitlan looked good breaking his maiden here on August 1st. No. 10 Deciphering Dreams broke his maiden here last year and now makes his 3yo debut. 1-6-8-10

Race 8

In the Grade 2 Ballston Spa Stakes No. 8 Strike The Bell had a nice prep for this on August 1st, No. 9 Tapitsfly has early speed and likes it here. 8-9

Race 9

In the Grade 3 Victory Ride Stakes No. 2 Jealous Girl is the speed of the speed and must be caught, Baffert brings in No. 3 A Z Warrior with his jockey Martin Garcia, she gets a turn back in distance and will be coming with a late run. 2-3

Race 10

In the Grade 1 Ballerina Stakes No. 5 Devil By Design has won five of seven going this 7 furlong distance with two of those wins coming over this track, she was fourth in this race last year. No. 6 Tar Heel Mom has big early speed and she has won three of four starts here at the spa and she can handle an off track just in case. No. 7 Sassy Image has won three straight races including two grade 1’s. 5-6-7

Race 11

In the Grade 1 Foxwoods King’s Bishop Stakes No. 2 Caleb’s Posse looked good winning the Grade 2 Amsterdam here on August 1st and his presences will be felt late once again. No. 7 Uncle Mo makes his long awaited return to the races and he has been working like he is ready to roll. 2-7

Race 12

In the Grade 1 Travers Stakes we will take our shot and single No. 9 Stay Thirsty who loves it here at the spa, we will single in the big late pick four and bet him on the win end. 9

We go from the Grade 1 Travers to this statebred maiden race, No. 8 Cincinnati Kid just missed here on the inner turf course losing by a neck and now gets Prado to ride, No. 9 Fast Grievance got closed here on the inner turf in his last race when running right behind No. 10 Mightylover. 8-9-10

Race 1

We go from a great card at Saratoga barring any rain to a lousy card here at Del Mar with beautiful weather. No. 1 Cranky Jack is bred for the grass but his only decent run came one race back when Rosario was on board and he gets back on today. No. 4 Unusual Beam just did miss last time out in a troubled trip when running third behind his stablemate No. 5 Starspangled Heat. 1-4-5

Race 2

No. 1 Mr.Saturdaynight gets his first start off the claim and has a good work since, No. 6 Charlie And Chris also gets his first start off the claim and he exits our HTW list. 1-6

Race 3

Joel Rosario will gun No. 7 Rock This way from the bell as he will try and take them wire- to- wire, No. 2 Phantom Lover and No. 4 Ultimate Decision will both be tracking him for the kill down the lane. 2-4-7

Race 4

Trainer Mike Mitchell has been winning with just about everything he sends out and he sends out No. 5 Sporting Art who will try and turn the tables on No. 2 Hudson Landing who beat him last time out. No. 6 Willyconker come off a nice win here on August 6th.

No. 7 Holladay Road says catch me if you can, No. 8 Bluegrass Reward finds his way into the Mike Mitchell barn from the high end Steven Miyadi barn, and Gomez says he will ride as he looks to turn the tables on Holladay Road. 7-8

Race 6

No. 3 Speedway Monkey has win early breeding and her dam Royal Ride has dropped five winners from five starters, No. 7 Heart’s Memory was bet like a good thing in her first start, she will be tough to beat today. 3-7

Trainer Sadler claimed No. 8 Luckarack for $62,500 he just missed with him last race in a $100k race and he won 20k for finishing second and he now puts him back to his original claimed price. No. 1 Korban is in top form and likes this track. 1-8

In the Grade 2 Del Mar Mile on the grass No. 3 Mr. Commons will try to gets his third grass win from three starts on the green, he looks set for another big effort and the Oceanside in which he won here on opening day ended up to be a key race. 3

Race 9

Trainer Howard Zucker has been sending out nothing but live ones and he sends out No. 3 Mucho Bravo, No. 8 Tiz Golden just missed here on August 3rd for 50k and now drops to this 30k maiden claimer seeking the win and that 4 furlong work on August 20th sticks out. 3-8
