We start off lucky Friday the 13th with 16 K Fillies and Mares going a flat mile, and the last time No. 1 Good Friday Gal won was at this level with Chantal Sutherland in the irons and she is back on board. Is this somekind of omen? No. 5 Katy’s Kitty drops in class and gets the bug boy back on, she may be the speed in here. 1-5

Race 2

No. 2 Woebegon has speed and makes her first start on the grass and she just may love it, No. 5 Indigo River is a very dangerous Irish import for Jeff Mullins and Rosario picks up the mount. 2-5

Race 3

No. 2 Orbach gets back to a mile on the dirt and Bejarano gets back on board and the last and only time he went a mile on conventional dirt he won, No. 1 King Cola is being dropped like a hot potato by the ice cold David Hofmans and is the big question mark in the race. 1-2

Race 4

Not much to speak of in this 5 ½ furlong maiden sprint for 20k, Bill Spawr drops the speedy No. 1 Jack Reacher one class and he hits at around .25% with the move. No. 11 Just Meteor takes the ultimate drop in class in Southern Cal and looks real short with these. These two could circle the track together. 1-11

Race 5

No. 7 She Spirit di Su is in from over the pond and gets Bejarano and has been looking for a spot. No. 8 La Malaguena is a filly who has the looks of a girl that wants to go long. Trainer John Sadler has put some nice works in No. 10 My Sweet Candy and her two turf starts sprinting are very good, she may try and take them back to back. 7-8-10

Race 6

No. 7 Elusive Schemes has a super work since the Mark Glatt claim, he will sit right off the hot pace and try and get the jump turning for home. 7

Race 7

No. 4 Cute N Sassy has really come into her own and she just may love this 6 ½ furlong down hill turf course, No. 8 Talktoomuch owns a win over the course and will try and get Mike Mitchell going off a real slow start here. Trainer Paco Gonzalez looks to have No. 9 Catchy Tune ready off the layoff. 4-8-9

Race 8

Sadler waves the white flag as he has given up on No. 3 Candy Sweetheart as he drops him to the bottom, No. 6 Aldadino gets off the grass and is also dropped to the bottom. No. 8 Cheers to Boogie has been close in his last two starts at this level and looks like the one to beat. No. 13 Remember Mike just did miss off the long layoff and if he doesn’t bounce he will be right there. 3-6-8-13

No. 2 Evita’s Crown just did miss in her first try here, she will be tough to beat with that race under her belt, No. 4 No Tricks for Jack will be a good value play in this race from off the pace. No. 6 Sheza Great Friend will go better with the turn back in distance. 2-4-6

Race 6

The new bug girl Eliska Kubinova gets the leg up on No. 4 Whispering Dixie and she will be a big price in here but has a shot, No. 5 Young Paris will go better in this her second off the layoff and the drop in class. 4-5

Race 7

Trainer Bill Morey sends out No. 4 She’s All Yours off the claim and Baze gets the ride. Her stablemate No. 6 Cruz’n Kitty looks to be the main danger. 4-6

Race 8

No. 1 Compromising Txt is looking for his fourth straight win, No. 2 Bell Zone is in top form he is a win machine and has a solid work since his last start. No. 3 Dave’s Pacemaker is also looking for his fourth straight win and he will be coming with a big late run. No. 5 Mickey’s House just did get beat by Txt last time out and he will try and turn the tables. 1-2-3-5
