We start Sunshine Millions day with this 6 1/2 furlong sprint, No. 1 Luckarack is entered here and also in race four the Sunshine Millions 100k Sensational Star, Rosario will ride in race one but if he goes in the Star the very capable Hector Berrios gets the call, in here he is entered for a claiming price of $62,500 and the purse is a hefty 60k in this much easier spot. No. 3 Sway Away makes his 4yo debut after being on the Derby Trail last year, his trainer has been hot and his works are steady and he ran second here last year in a Grade 2. No. 5 Capital Account is the speed and will be hard to beat if he clears in this his second off the layoff. 5*-3-1

Race 2

4yo and up statebred maidens going 6 furlongs, No. 1 Mary Helen’s Storm took some action in his one and only against open company on the Hollywood grass when he was squeezed at the start look for him to go much better today, No. 2 Unstopper Topper may be the speed of the speed and gets Rosario. No. 3 Madeoftherightstuf, will get a good sitting position off a hot pace and may finally get the maiden breaker. 3*-1-2

Race 3

In the Grade 3 Santa Ysabel Stakes No. 5 Lady Shamrock looks to have a big shot if able to transfer her turf form to the dirt and No. 6 Killer Graces fresh off of her big win in the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlight is a solid fit if able to transfer her synthetic form to the dirt. No. 7 Charm The Maker ran good here on the dirt in the Grade 1 Oak Leaf. 5**-7-6

Race 4

In the 100k Sensational Star going 6 1/2 furlongs down the hill top Northern California trainer Steven Miyadi sends out No. 2 Ain’t No Other who has been facing nothing but open company and he did run a good third going down the hill in a Grade 3 here last October in his only try, he is a solid fit in here. No. 4 Compari has won five of his six turf starts here including this race back in 2010. The horse to beat is No. 5 Caracortado who comes off a gigantic win in the Grade 3 Daytona on this course but he will be a short price in here. 2*-5-4

Race 5

The 100k Crystal Water going 1 1/16 on the dirt, No. 4 Spud Spivens is an interesting play in this race which is loaded with early speed, he comes off a Grade 2 with open company and has a real sharp 4 furlong drill for this and he will be a big price and is worth a look, No. 5 Holladay Road will be right there but has a question mark on the dirt but it is interesting that Bejarano went for him instead of No. 4 Thirtyfirststreet who has some big back class and comes off a rousing win here on Jan 12th on the dirt vs. open company. 4-5-3

Race 6

In the 100k Valentine Dancer going a flat mile on the grass No. 9 Halo Dolly is in from Golden Gate for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, this 4yo filly has won eight of her 14 races and is two for two at this distance and has three wins and a second from four turf starts, she looks very solid in here with Joe Talamo getting the leg up. No. 2 Warren’s Got Game has won here going a mile on the grass and he will offer a box car price. Joel Rosario gets the ride on No. 1 Secret Cove who will get a cozy rail trip. 9-1-2

No. 4 Jim’s No Preacher gets his second start off the layoff and he will be out winging it on the front end, No. 7 Sahara Sky has won two of three at this distance and won his only start here last year, he looks ready to fire off the layoff. No. 1 Scofield Barracks gets his first start off the claim and has a big 5 furlong work since. 7**-4-1

Trainer Mike Mitchell sends out two in here No. 1 R Vicarious Girl off the layoff and No. 2 Bonita Star who is the one we like in here, No. 3 Van Brit has won six of 10 on this turf course and five of 10 at this distance. No. 5 Blue Grass Music gets Rosario and ran behind Bonita Star one race back. 2-3-5

In the Grade 1 Santa Monica No. 3 Teddy’s Promise fresh off of her big win here at 7 furlongs in the Grade 1 La Brea is the filly to beat, No. 4 Home Sweet Aspen was in front of Teddy in the La Brea but tired late and finished 4th , if Rosario can clear early and give her a little breather she will hold on better today. No. 7 Sugarinthemorning finished second in the La Brea and will be right there again today. 3**-4-7

Race 10

We finish off the late pick four with this 6 1/2 furlong turf race for 3yo maidens No. 2 The Roan Ranger ran a top race in his last start on this downhill turf course, No. 5 Chickie Charms was a half -length in front of the Roan Ranger in that race. Mike Mitchell sends out a very dangerous shipper from over the pond in No. 6 Our Merv. 2-5-6

Race 1

No. 1 Green Cat is the best closer in the race, he will try and run down No. 4 C’mon Marquis and No. 5 Cazadero. 1-4-5

No. 1 Battle Lou is back in town where he broke his maiden, he looks very tough in this spot, No. 2 Jaylo Marino has won nine races here and is the one to beat. 1-2

No. 1 Skyy UP Dry is a live first time starter out of the Steve Sherman barn, he finds a real soft group of 8k maiden claimers. No. 6 Kid Atlantic looks best of the ones that have run. 1-6

No. 1 Cool Haleigh won here in her only try, No. 3 Young Paris gets Baze in this her third start off the layoff this looks like the money run. No. 5 Gracias takes the big drop in class for Miyadi. 1-3-5

No. 4 Shadow Ball ran a big race in his first start and has a big work since, No. 7 Canterbury Road ran behind Bill but will go better today. No. 8 Luke’s Cajun has an outside shot. 4**-7-8

We will take our shot in this race as we search for a big price in the late pick four and use the Miyadi system of two in the same race as he sends out No. 2 Royalism and No. 5 Jeanne Barbie a first time starter, we will gamble one of them to get there. 2-5
