Trainer John Sadler sends out first time starter No. 4 Et Tu Walker out of the dam Inspired Hope who has dropped three winners from three starters, Baffert has two runners going but his main jock is on first time starter No. 5 Mile High Magic who sports a solid five furlong work for his first start. No. 6 Gophari gets his second start for trainer Bonde who is having a solid meet and he makes a big time rider upgrade to Bejarano. No. 8 Immaculate gets his second start off a troubled first trip a race in which he took plenty of action, he goes from the inside to the outside so look for a big run today. 4-5-6-8

No. 2 His Boy Elroy tried routing on the grass in his first start off the O’Neill claim and now drops and gets back to a sprint, the extra half a furlong can only help No. 6 Me Salty who just did miss last time out at 5½ furlongs. No. 7 Indian Gaming will show all of his speed today with the drop in class. No. 10 Warren’s Patron gets blinkers on, off a narrow miss last time out. 2-6-7-10
Race 3
In the Grade 2 Arcadia the classy No. 2 Pathfork is in from over the pond for trainer Sadler, he won three straight as a 2yo including a Grade 1 in Ireland but just had one dismal start last year? No. 8 Mr. Commons exits out HTW list and is the one to beat in here, he loves it here at Santa Anita and looks set for another big effort. 2-8**

No. 4 Salt Of The Earth has some good win early breeding and the price will be a good one with the low profile but very capable Kayla Stra riding, No. 10 Priddis Wildcat also has some win early breeding and a sharp 5 furlong work here on Jan 26th. No. 11 Paperrockscissors is another first time starter with win early breeding who will be a price, his dam has dropped seven winners from seven starters including three stakes winners. 4-10-11

3yo maiden fillies going 6½ furlongs down the hill on the grass and that can get very dicey, No. 1 Ramona’s Ride is in from Calder and lands in the Ted West barn off of one 5 furlong turf sprint and she showed a good late run despite a slow start, No. 2 Belle Passe was last seen just missing by a head last may in Ireland going 6 furlongs on the deep Irish green, she looks like a runner. No. 4 Sydney’s Darling ran ok in her one and only going 6 furlongs on the Hollywood turf, she comes back here and gets Bejarano in the irons. Mike Mitchell sends out No. 7 Mirror Ball who is in from over the pond off a narrow loss by a nostril going 7 furlongs on a good turf course and she was well bet that day, Mitchell also sends out No. 10 Miss Communication who ran third by a length here in her last start going down the hill. No. 11 Dubai Cyclone is a first time starter with Nakatani riding for Harty and this fillys dam has dropped 14 winners from 15 starters including 13 turf winners. So is this a tough race well YES! 2-7-10-11

In the Grade 2 Robert B. Lewis Baffert saddles No. 2 Liaison who has won three straight including the Grade 1 Cashcall in his last start, he also sends out No. 5 Sky Kingdom with his main jock, he was just two lengths behind Liaison in the Cashcall and had a race since and it was a corker. No. 6 Rousing Sermon exits our HTW list and has lost two in a row to Liaison but will try and turn the tables on that one today. 2-5-6

No. 5 Tippety Tap Tap exits our HTW list off a huge try at 40-1 in his last start, he gets blinkers on today and has a real nice work since, No. 9 Gab Power ran right behind Tippety and will like the added distance today. 5-9

No. 1 Jaycito makes his 4yo debut in the Grade 2 Strub, No. 7 Tapizar comes off a big win in the San Fernando. 1-7

We have 25 k claimers going down the hill, No. 7 Devoted Magic is back in town and he won the only time he went down the hill, we will take our shot and single in the late pick four. 7

No. 6 Welcome Home Ryan just missed at this level in his last start, No. 9 Industry Leader also just missed in his last start here. Back classer No. 1 Setsuko finds a soft spot for his comeback. 1-6-9 (note this is a very tough card tread carefully)
