No. 6 Bring It has been off for over a year but if ready he could be best with this soft group of 20k maiden claimers, No. 4 Our Last Monte looks best of the ones that have run this year. 4-6

No. 3 Personalitary has speed and the drop in class can only help his cause and it is a good sign that Rosario sticks, No. 5 Megaride will be making a late run at a big price and could light up the tote. 3-5

No. 1 Whinston is a well regarded 3yo colt for trainer Steve Asmussen, he was last seen running second at Saratoga but looks set for action today, trainer Bob Baffert has an arsenal of 3yo colts in his barn and he sends out two in this race but the one we like is the Zayat owned No. 7 Paynter who is bred to be a good one. 1-7

No. 1 D’princess looks ready to fire off the layoff as does No. 4 Hidinginplainsight. Carla Gaines sends out a good looking first time starter in No. 8 Harbor Song, this filly looks ready to run. 1-4-8

No. 5 Valley Cat gets the hot riding Bejarano in the irons and looks solid in this mile turf race, No. 3 Starspangled Heat gets his fourth start at the meet and will be making his usual late run at them. 3-5

In the Grade 2 Santa Maria there is a lot of speed in here with No. 2 Ellafitz the speed of the speed, the two that will try and run her down are No. 4 Love Theway Youare and No. 6 Great Hot. 2-4-6

This mile turf race is perfectly set up for No. 7 Winsome Charm from off the pace, jockey Rosario will sit back off the hot pace and run them all down late, we will single in the late pick four. 7

The same can be said about this race as No. 5 Short Memo and recent maiden winner No. 7 Jim’s Decision will both find a hot pace to make their last runs. 5-7

Nakatani who is in town to ride in the Grade 3 El Camino Real in the next race gets a feel of the track on No. 1 Kid Stuff in here, No. 5 Jaylo Marino is in top form and gives his best every time out. 1-5

The Grade 3 El Camino Real Derby 200k, Julien Leparoux is in to ride No. 1 Daddy Nose Best for Steve Asmussen, this colt has been on the grass and will take his first try on the synthetic surface, No. 4 Russian Greek exits our HTW list and will get the acid test today with the tough shippers coming in. Alan Garcia is in town to ride the Graham Motion colt No. 6 Lucky Chappy who is a big closer. Nakatani will ride No. 7 Handsome Mike for Doug O’Neil. 1-4-6-7

No. 5 Ira The Esquire looks set for the win in this his second off the layoff and second try here at the Gate, we will single in the late pick four. 5
