Race 1

Trainer Ted West hits at around .30% when dropping a horse one class and he drops No. 1 Pop The Cork one class and he will find a hot early pace to make his last run if he still has one, No. 6 Call Me Jones drops trying to cash. 1-6

Race 2

In the second race we get 2yo maidens going 5 furlongs on the grass, No. 1 Salutos Amigos has a real nice five furlong work and his trainer hits at around .20% with first time starters and his dam has dropped two winners from two starters including a turf winner, No. 2 Rob’s Pal is a first time starter with a good four furlong work and his dam has dropped four winners from five starters including three turf winners and with Nureyev and Alphabet Soup in his blood lines this one should really love the grass. No. 5 Miceli is by the sire War Chant who was a champion going a mile on the grass, Peter Miller sends out No. 6 Manewal who showed good early speed going 4½ furlongs on the main finishing second behind the very fast and highly regarded Amrish who came back to win a big race next out. No. 7 Speedinthruthecity is the stablemate of No. 6 Manewal and this first time starter has a sharp five furlong work and his dam has dropped three winners from three starters including a grass winner.

Race 3

We now have 2yo 40k maiden fillies going 4 ½ furlongs No. 3 Gambulina was sent off at .80 cents on the dollar in her first start finishing a close fourth, she will be tough today, No. 4 Snackable is in from the recently closed Golden Gate meet where she ran a game second by a nose with straight maidens in her one and only start and she lands in the barn of Peter Miller. No. 8 Divas And Diamonds tried straight maidens in her first start, she showed good speed but folded, look for her to hold better today.

Race 4

Let’s go with the two droppers in this race No. 6 Panettone and No. 7 Chapman’s Peak, after  that this race is a real crap shoot.

Race 5

No. 1 Highly Rated comes off a nice maiden win on the grass for the hot training Carla Gaines and gets the hot riding Bejarano with Rosario missing, No. 3 Elana Mar has been right there in all three of her turf starts. No. 5 Long Legged Lovely exits a key race.

Exacta box 1-3-5 and win and place 3

Race 6

No. 1 Zenett will be out winging it on the front end in this 1 1/16 route, she could get brave if able to clear early and secure a soft pace, No. 4 I’m Always Hopeful will be the one to fear late with the drop to this level. 1-4

Q 1-4

Race 7

If No. 1 Gem Of Soul can handle the cushion surface she will be right there, No. 4 Sparkling Style has won both of her starts here as a 3yo blitzing them  in both.  No. 5 Glamorista is the stablemate of Sparkling Stlye and she will try and take them wire to wire. No. 2 Orientatious was one tough filly last year beating the likes of Home Sweet Aspen and Teddy’s Promise, beat her to cash. 1-2-4-5
