Race 1

Night racing  on Friday the 13th, night racing isn’t bad enough, but Friday the 13th? The question is who thought up this race. It is for 3yo and up who have started at the Betfair Hollywood meet for a claiming price of 10k or less and have not finished 1st,2nd or 3rd in their last three starts. They want to give someone a win. At least No. 4 Lone Justice and No. 5 Classical Slew have some early speed but with the hot weather the track has gotten very quirky and  has not favored the early speed. Pass

Race 2

Now we have 2yo maiden fillies running for a 30k price tag. No. 1 Half Moon Gambler did not break in her first start and now Rafael Bejarano will get the leg up for trainer Doug O’Neill as he drops this girls price tag from 50k to 30k. Bug boy Vinnie Bednar gets on first time starter No. 4 Bluegrass Girl whose dam has dropped 6 winners from 6 starters. No. 3 Pursuitofparadise ran a bang up second last time out for a 50k price tag. She is the one to beat. No. 7 Snackable is one of two Peter Miller horses. A second time starter, but she is the one who has the best chance for a trainer who hits at .30% when going from a straight maiden race to a maiden claimer. Millers other entry is first time starter No. 6 Hyena whose dam has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters. 1-3-4-6-7

Race 3

Ignacio (Iggy) Puglisi has been riding lights out for trainer Paul Aguirre and he is on No. 2 You Little Devil who comes off the maiden breaker and now tries the grass, but his breeding says can do. No. 4 Secret Spy will try and clear early and take them back to back. 2-4

2nd 1-3-4-6-7

3rd 2-4

Race 4

No. 2 Nifty Dream has had her chances but this may be the easiest  and she sports a solid 5 furlong work for this. No. 7 La Sancha is lightly raced and is the one to fear turning for home. No. 10 Zenett just missed  here 3 races back and now gets the recently arrived Corey Nakatani in the irons. She gets blinkers on and goes from a route to a sprint, she is sitting on a big effort. 2-7-10

Exacta box 2-7-10

Race 5

No. 2 Floating Feather drops into an action spot and won here at this distance one race back. No. 3 Daylight Magic has never run a bad race and gets a major rider upgrade. 2-3

Race 6

No. 4 Chocolate Delight drops a notch and gets Gomez for what looks like the money run. No. 8 Malibu Love has been knocking on the door. 4-8

Race 7

No. 3 Donner Wasser is back in just 6 days, if he goes all he needs to do is run down  No. 2 Running Isabella and No. 8 Unusual Hottie who will be right on Isabella’s tail. 3** with 2-8

Q 3 with 3-8 and a tri box 2-3-8

Race 8

No. 1 Satchmo’s Muse ran good despite being squeezed at the start. No. 2 Aunt Gert exits the same race. She was a half length behind Satchmo and now gets a big break in the weights. Trainer Doug O’Neill and Bejarano hook up on first time starter No. 6 Color Girl. No. 11 Tiz a Brite Miss has been right there in all four of her starts at the meet for trainer Kathy Walsh, who has been blanked here so far. She looks like a hanger but is a must use in the exotics. No. 12 Rock U Up is another live first time starter in a wide open race. 1-2-6-12

Pick four

5th 2-3

6th 4-8

7th 3

8th 1-2-6-12
