This race is just loaded with early speed and if no one can clear early it will set things up for the comebacker No. 7 Half Dome Dude who won both of his starts here last year from off the pace. 7

No. 2 Avarooskie won at first asking last November in the mud at Santa Anita and then went on the shelf. She comes back in this 5 furlong turf sprint and looks ready. No. 5 Glee is in from over the pond for Mike Mitchell and she may like this spot and has been in steady workouts here. No. 8 Kilted Tilt is another comebacker. This girl won here last start going down the hill at Santa Anita in her only turf try and she has been working with a purpose. 2-5-8

No. 3 Priddis Wildcat drops, gets off the grass, gets blinkers on and a break in the weights as he is on go. No. 4 Bold Agressor just missed in his one and only when well bet at Hollywood Park on July 12th. No. 1 Budidinha ran good here on July 29th, her first start after coming in from Calder. No. 8 Chimi Dee will be making a big late run and exits the same race as does No. 10 On Time Again. 1-8-10

No. 1a Dubai Time is in good form but needs to draw in from the also list. No. 2 Kitten’s Kid drops into an action spot and his stablemate No. 2b King David is in top form but is stuck on the also list. No. 9 Political Courage gets back on the grass ( if no rain) and will go better. 1a-2-2b-9

50k maiden fillies go 5 ½ furlongs on the grass barring rain. No. 2 The Roofer may not stop today turf or mud. No. 3 Coach A. J. also has speed and the two may circle the field together. 2-3

Race 8

No. 2 Bluember looks set for the win off his comeback race. 2

Race 9

No. 1 I’ll Stake U looks very sneaky at a nice price. No. 2 Willy Beamin is the one to beat. 1-2

Race 10

No. 2 Coral Glade is a speedy dropper. No. 3 Street Dreams looks to be closing in on the maiden breaker. No. 6 Cypress Pond is in from CD for a good barn. No. 9 Warm Glow looks right there with these. 2-3-6-9
