No.1 Ondine is a second time Baffert who gets Bejarano in the irons and a flat mile, beat him to cash off of that 6 furlong work here on Sept 23rd. No.4 Wednesday is a second time Carla Gaines who will also be stretched out and she also has a nice 6 furlong work for this. No.6 Vixen is the other Baffert and may be the speed in here. 1-4-6

The jockey switch on No.3 Slammer Time is the key as the last two times this gelding won was here with Bejarano riding. No.9 Renegade Storm is the stablemate of Slammer Time and its been a long time between wins for him but he owns his wins here on the grass. 3-9

No.2 Beholder was scratched out of the big race on Saturday for this much softer spot. She will be odds on. No.5 Mechaya exits the same race as Beholder and will be the one to fear late as she will fall into a good stalking position right off the pace. 2-5

No.3 Sumerian ran a good one at this mile distance on the grass in his first start at Del Mar. No.7 Raya Roja has run back to back good races on the grass. No.9 Mojave Desert put in a big late run in his one and only going 1 1/16 on the Del Mar grass. 3-7-9

No.1 Night Wind has been working with a purpose here. No.7 Tribal Jewel broke his maiden on this course last year. No.8 Floating Feather is in top form. 1-7

The one time No.2 Cayanna ran down the hill she won. No.3 West Ruler also like this layout with a win and two seconds from three starts. No.5 Mrs. Rosa is a reclaim by trainer Vann Belvoir and she is in top form. 2-3-5

Race 8

No.3 Morganouska is back in the Hess barn and Sutherland who won on this gelding two times is back on. No.8 Tiz Liberty has three wins from four starts here and now drops into an action spot. 3-8
