SANTA ANITA

Race 1

This looks like a good spot to key on horses exiting the same race and there are four in here, we like three the best and one we will key on, starting with No. 3 Lucy Got Lucky who comes off a nice win on this course, No. 4 Enlightened Lady who finished third by less than a length, No. 7 Skylights the fourth place finisher who gets her second start off the layoff for trainer Sadler and No. 8 Argenta who never ran a step and was up the track.

3-4-7*-8

Race 2

This one is a real tough race, we will just make a little exacta box using No. 1 Sea Rascal, No. 2 Nikki’sgoldensteed and No. 4 Italian Rules. 1-2-4

Race 3

Fillies and Mares going a flat mile on the grass and we have another race in which we can key on horses exiting the same good race starting with No. 2 Tashzara the second place finisher, No. 5 Mutually Benefit who is exiting our HTW list and the third place finisher in what was another trouble trip and No. 6 Cry Hallelujah the pace setter who finished fourth. 2-5-6

Race 4

In this 30k maiden claimer for 3yo on paper it appears that no one wants to or can win but the one to use if you are playing the picks are No. 2 Onelasttime who looks like a good price play being the only first time starter in this very soft maiden claiming race. No. 4 Diamond Touch who at least as some early speed and jockey Bejarano rides again. No. 7 Eddingtonforgianna who may go better in this his third lifetime start and he gets a little turn back in distance and No. 9 Call Me Later who looks like the best closer and a good key on the first and second spots. 2-4-7-9

If you need to go to the store for the wife or just want to beat the traffic I suggest you go home after this race. In here No. 1 Spanish Bunny is one of two Barry Abrams horses going a flat mile on the grass the other is No. 4 Jaz El who is exiting our HTW list and looks like the main speed in here. No. 6 Tiz A Bud Girl has run her best races going a flat mile on the grass and No. 7 She’sfitforaking ran a good one at this distance finishing second on this course one race back. 1-4-6-7

Race 6

This one is really ugly but if we are sitting on some extra cash after the early show we will take a shot but I would not try and get even on the last three races. In here will key on No.2 Pat Olcott who will try and take them wire-to-wire the only problem is that her owner John M Liviakis loves to bet his horses and he is not shy about sending it in with his deep pockets. No. 8 Kahlua Mist just finished second behind Pat and is the one to fear from off the pace. The others in the race are No. 4 L’Enchanteresse who takes a big drop in class, No. 5 Dubai Macau girl another dropper and No. 11 Flashy Traveler who gets off the turf and back to the main. 2-8 with 4-5-11

This flat mile on the grass is another tough nut to crack, No. 2 Double Shuffle finds his way here from six different tracks but has won eight races out of 26 lifetime starts with three seconds and seven thirds. No. 3 Averoo has the Rosario and Sadler connections. No. 7 Bogie has been right there in all four of his starts since shipping here form Ireland. No. 10 Who’s Up has won both of his starts going a mile on the grass and one of those came here at Santa Anita. 2-3-7-10

If you are still here at the track you are a real trooper, in the last race of the day a 20k maiden claimer we will go with No. 2 Guadalupe Lupe a nine time loser so tells you how bad these are. No. 8 Our Last Monte looks on the improve and if he can ran back to his last start he wins. 2-8*

Alive Cartwright will ride No. 4 Merry Marino who she almost got home last time out. 4

We will take a little shot with No. 5 Welcome Home Ryan who ships in from Santa Anita for trainer Danny Velasquez, he has found a real soft group to get the maiden breaker. 5

Race 3

No. 1 Run Suki Run looks like a good key horse we will use her with the two Jerry Hollendorfer entries No. 3 Broken Silence and No. 4 Softly Singling. 1**-3-4

Race 4

No. 2 Johny Bonita gets a good jock switch back to the jock that won with him and he also gets a turn back to his best distance and a drop in class. No. 4 Gold Score exits the same race as Johny and gets Baze to ride. No. 7 Danger gets blinkers on for a hot trainer and he may be live off the layoff. 2-4-7

Race 5

No. 1 Ez Rachel comes back in town looking to steal a purse and her trainer Julio Canani is really trying to dump this girl, don’t bet at what will be a short price. No. 3 Teapartysuccess will be making a late run. 1-3

No. 2 Iron Gato has some good win early breeding, No. 7 Secret Jackpot is in from Santa Anita and it’s a good sign that trainer Gary Mandlella keep him at the same claiming level. 2-7

No. 1 Northern Indy could be the pace setter from his rail post, No. 2 Offlee Wild Boys is in from Santa Anita and lands in the Miyadi barn. 1-2

No. 1 Victorious Love will be out winging from the rail, No. 4 Jazzmina is on a win everyother race pattern and this is her win race and she will try and run down Love.

1-4
