No. 4 Derekson has good early speed and gets Tyler Baze who will be gunning from the bell. No. 5 Bro Derek drops into a maiden claimer for the first time and will be right on the tail of the other Derek. 4-5

No. 4 Ashley’s Bambino may like this Hollywood turf course and the hustling Joe Talamo gets his shot. No. 6 Unusual Beam has had his chances but now Nakatani will get the ride and he gets back with statebreds. No. 7 Magnum Force had a real nice work on the 23rd for his first going long. 4-6-7

No. 5 Won Won Oh Five is in top form and is a perfect fit at this level and has a good second here on the 15th at this 1 1/16 distance. No. 7 Sidepocket Kid will be making his usual late run. 5-7

No. 5 Senor Rain is back in town and that last work on the 21st says he is in form and happy. No. 3 Sir Allison finds a better spot. 3-5

Race 5

No. 2 Swift Eagle almost broke his maiden on this turf course going this 1¼ distance. He will try and take them gate to wire. No. 8 Te Rapa got beat a neck going this 1¼ turf distance at Santa Anita with Talamo riding and he is back on today. 2-8

No. 4 Rock U Up has run three good races in her three starts. No. 5 Taking Form exits the same race, a race in which she had trouble. No. 7 Queen Mercury also exits the race and she finished second. 4-5-7

No. 2 Jet Blue Girl is in top form and owns a win over this 6 furlong turf course. No. 5 Belle Passe is the stablemate of Jet Blue and gets her second start off the layoff but is proven sprinting on the grass. No. 7 Missdealornodeal has been stuck in second gear finishing second in her last four starts including second to Jet Blue Girl last time out going down the hill at Santa Anita. She will be right there again. 2-5-7

No. 5 Single N Lovin It gets her third start off the layoff and the blinkers go on. She finds little to beat in here. 5

No. 5 Thefutureisnow will be right there in this mile race with this soft crew. 5

No. 2 Lucky Mr. K comes off the layoff sporting some good works and at one time he would have crushed this group. No. 6 Tormenta Roja looks to make it three straight wins. 2-6

No. 3 Alwaysredonsunday had her race and looks set for her best for a hot trainer. No. 4 Royal Recruit comes off a nice win at this claiming price. No. 5 Gypsy Spirit looks to make it three straight and is the one to beat at a short price. No. 6 Ruler of the Tribe ran right behind Gypsy Spirit last time out. No. 8 Zoe’s Baba is the stablemate of Gypsy Spirit and won here last time out when shipping in from Santa Anita. She will be making a late run. 3-4-5-6-8

Race 4

No. 2 Curious Spy will go better today with the drop in class. No. 7 Risky Road will be the speed at this level. 2-7

Race 5

First time starter No. 5 Wild Sting finds a real soft group of 8k maiden claimers. No. 6 No Lookin’ Back ships in from Santa Anita and gets the bug boy Juan Sanchez. No. 7 He’s a Sure Call is the one to beat off this last race. No. 10 Bi Tomorrow is very live off the layoff. 5-6-7-10

Race 6

No. 2 Trusher Mtn Man lost his irons in his last start and will be the one today with a good trip. 2

Race 7

The one time Frank Alvarado rode No. 4 Heroically he got the win. No. 7 Sandor gets his second start off the layoff and won here at this turf distance and level back in August. 4-7 ( turf only)

Race 8

No. 4 Champali has the speed to take these wire to wire in this her second off the layoff and she rarely runs a bad race. No. 5 Kisses for Kate gets off the grass and back to a sprint. She will be running late. 4-5
