No. 1 Logical Single hasn’t been that of late but could be with the drop to this level off the good work out pattern. No. 6 Mia Isabel exits our HTW list and is the filly to beat. 1-6

Race 3

No. 1 The Whole Deal ran big when dropped in with claimers and could come right back. No. 6 Rubysandpearls is in from Calder and looks live. No. 7 Sacred Ovation is the stablemate of Ruby and gets his first start off the Peter Miller claim. 1-6-7

Race 4

Trainer Art Sherman must have thought that No. 4 Double Anta could run on the grass as he tossed her in with Grade 3 competition last time out. She ran a better than looked race and will go better with these. No. 5 Pogonip was scratched from her last race when looking for the grass after exiting our HTW list. She will like this mile trip. Leparoux gets on No. 7 Mary Fildes who will be making a big late run. 4-5-7

Race 5

No. 1 Life is a Stone was sent off at 7/5 in her first start at Golden Gate and got a bad trip. The race ended up as a key race so she fits here. No. 4 Sophie’s Secret has burned a ton of dough but is the speed and will be right there again. No. 7 Jade With Envy ran good in her one start and will be the one to fear tuning for home. 1-4-7

Love the last work on No. 4 The Only Key who gets the hustling Kubinova in the irons. No. 5 True Expectations will be right there with a good stalking trip. 4-5

No. 5 Primed and Ready has finished second in five of his six starts and will be right there again today, No. 6 Salah Champ exits our HTW list. He was all but eliminated at the start in his last race, with a clean break today he wins! No. 12 Judge Carr drops into a maiden claimer for the first time and gets Tyler. 5-6-12

Trainer Bob Baffert must really want to win this as he sends out four of the 7 starters, No. 1 Capital Account, No. 2 Smash, No. 3 Fast Bullet and No. 5 Bank the Eight. Of the four we will side with No. 2 Smash with the great works off the layoff. 2

No. 1 Cajun Market woke up when dropped to this level in her last start and she exits our HTW list, No. 8 Letthepartybegin drops into a maiden claimer for the first time and gets off the grass and back to a sprint. No. 13 Bwanadada drops into a maiden claimer for the first time and looks the one to beat. 1-8-13

No. 5 Chukchi Sunrise gets moved back up in class off a good second last time out. She will be a short price. 5

Race 2

Jockey Kyle Frey who will be heading to Santa Anita on December 26th rides No. 2 Secret Spy for Miyadi who also sends out No. 3 King Roar with the new bug Marni Williams in the irons. When he runs two in the same race he usually wins with one of them. Baze gets on No. 4 Cava Kavia who will sit and pounce today. 2-3-4

Race 3

This race is scheduled to be run at 1 1/16 on the grass and if it stays on the grass or off, the main two in here are No. 7 No.  Kidding Around and No. 8 Sudden Sunday with the speedy No. 5 Olympio’s Girl with a shot. 5-7-8

Race 4

No. 2 Bruno’s Wager comes back to town and has a good work for this. No. 5 Genius Level gets his first start off the John  Martin claim. 2-5

Race 5

No. 6 Handful of Pearls drops off the layoff. No. 7 A.P. Anna has run her best at this 5 ½ furlong distance. No. 8 Annie Em and No. 9 Panda Bai both will be right there. 

Race 6

2yo maiden 20k fillies going a mile on the grass. No. 4 Lana Lang ran her best race last time out at this mile turf distance. No. 5 Hot French Fries was well backed in her one start and is bred for the grass. Kyle Frey gets the ride on No. 6 Peppery who  ran right behind Lana last time out. No. 7 Tiz Heat will be part of the early pace and could get brave. No. 9 Isadaisybelle exits a key race. 4-5-6-7-9

No. 2 Heir to Money gets his second start off the layoff and now will go long. 2

No. 2 My Samurai Warrior ships in from Santa Anita and finds a good spot. No. 4 Dixico is in top form and will be playing catch me if you can. 2-4

No. 3 Resist is sitting on the maiden breaker and the drop to this level should do it. No. 4 Cee’s Treasure gets his second start after trying straight maidens at Hollywood back in June. The last work by No. 5 Ron’s Ranger has him  on edge for a good performance. 3-4-5
