In this very tough straight maiden race that is scheduled to be run on the downhill turf course. We will opt for the Tom Proctor shipper No. 9 Examen who is in from Arlington Park where he met up with the highly regarded Brown Almighty. 9

THE GRADE 3 SANTA YSABEL

No. 1 Escape Act showed a new style last time out when sitting back and making a big late run only losing in a four horse blanket finish. No. 3 Scarlet Strike was part of that finish losing by a nostril. No. 5 Branding exits our HTW list and may fit with these. No. 6 Heir Kitty also exits our HTW list as a $$$$$ play. 1-3-5-6**

Race 5

This race is scheduled to go a mile on the grass. No. 1 Toomanytomatoes exits our HTW list and gets back to a route. No. 3 Tiz Flirtatious exits the R J Frankel, a race in which More Chocolate came out of and won in her next start. No. 7 Halo Dolly also exits that race and she has a very good work since. 1-3-7

Race 6

No. 2 Akiss Forarose put in a big late run last time out when coming from far back. She gets Maldonado today and will be much closer. No. 8 Doinghardtimeagain has two wins and two second from four lifetime starts and is a must use. 2-8

Race 7

THE 300K CAL BREEDERS CHAMPION STAKES

We will use 3 out of the same race and toss the one that won that race. No. 6 Fighting Hussar who finished second, No. 8 Monument the third place finisher and No. 9 Tiz a Minister the fourth place finisher who did run second last time out on the grass and now gets back to the dirt. We will toss the winner of the race No. 11 Weewinnin. 6-8-9

THE GRADE 2 SANTA MONICA

No. 5 Belle of the Hall’s last race was in the BC Fillie and Mare sprint here last November. She has been here working ever since and her last work says she is on go. No. 7 Rumor also ran in the race. 5-7

THE 100K CRYSTAL WATER

Trainer Paddy Gallagher gave the speedy No. 2 Swift Eagle a real nice 7 furlong work on the grass here on the 19th which set him up perfectly for this. No. 3 Big Bane Theory did not want to be on the front end and now Leparoux takes over and will give him a nice patient ride. No. 6 John Scott is trained by Carla Gaines who also sends out the Big Bane Theory. 2-3-6

Race 10

In this straight maiden race for 3yo fillies No. 1 Mark of a Gem can only move forward off her first try and the same can be said about No. 5 Hidethegoodstuff who exits the same race in which she had the lead down the lane but could not hold off the winner. No. 10 Atta Girl Alma will be the price play from out of the clouds. 1-5-10

Race 1

No. 1 Photo Shopped is the one to beat first off the Morey claim. No. 2 Sandor drops to the level of his last win. 1-2

Race 2

We will use two speed horses in here and one closer. The speed will be No. 5 Cost of Freedom and No. 6 One Mo. The one who will try and run those two down is No. 3 Maidens Justice. 3-5-6

No. 2 Hail Mark showed good early speed in her first start vs straight maidens and now drops into this maiden claimer. No. 5 Darcurts Hope will be right there. 2-5

No. 1 Lincoln Launch is the controlling speed on the rail with the hot riding Dennis Carr. No. 3 Brady’s Kat is hoping for the speed to come back to him. No. 5 Royal Stormer will fall into a good stalking position. 1-3-5

Race 5

No. 3 Incisive won off the long layoff and will win right back if the bounce effect does not happen. No. 4 Sweet Toffy comes off the maiden breaker and is perfectly spotted. No. 6 Foreseeable Future will be making a late run. 3-4-6

We will make a one way call in this race and single No. 4 Gatheratthealter who is looking for his third straight win. We think he gets it. 4

This race looks like it is right from Santa Anita as it is loaded with So. Cal shippers. We will opt with No. 7 Morning Fog who comes back to town, a place where he is two for two and he is 3 for 3 at this six furlong distance. 7

Race 9

No. 1 Fast Forty is in from Santa Anita and drops to the bottom of the claiming ranks. No. 5 Hot Roxx is a Jerry Hollendorfer first time starter with Baze. 1-5
