Good sign that trainer Mike Mitchell moves up No. 2 Night Dance first off the claim and puts on Leparoux. No. 3 Cat’sdoubledaygirl looked good winning off the layoff here on Feb 7th, she has had time to recoup and should run big right back. 2-3

No. 5 Chinese Praise could get the job done today in this his second start at this level and with Maldonado getting back on. 5

Race 3

No. 1 Donato has been one popular item at the claim box getting redtagged from 3 of his last four races, he moves up today off the Kristin Mulhall claim and has a good work since that last win and the others will need to run him down once again. No. 2 Baron Von Red drops in class, stretches out and will fall into a good stalking position right behind Donato. No. 6 Spit Ball comes off a huge win last time out and now gets a confident boost in class first off the Ron Ellis claim. 1-2-6

Down the hill we go. No. 4 Demonsterous ran huge going down the hill last time out at a big price, he could score today. No. 6 Marinda looked good breaking her maiden going down the hill last time out and could come right back as Bejarano sticks. No. 8 Madre Luna looks set for her best in this her third start off the long layoff. No. 9 Nihilist was last seen back in March of last year going wire-to-wire on this course, she has a real nice work here on the 2nd. 4-6-8-9

No. 5 Celebrity Status had no luck on the grass last time out and now will move back to the main. No. 7 Red Tesla comes off a long layoff for Baffert but has been working with a purpose. No. 11 Bobo looks like a live Gulfstream Park shipper who lands in the barn of Paddy Gallagher. 5-7-11

Race 6

No. 2 Cacau has a great work pattern for this mile turf race and the price may be right. No. 4 Democrat Duck ran big going a 1 1/8 on this turf course last time out losing by ¾ for a length. No. 10 Noble Power gets his second start for Proctor and looks set for a huge late run today. Gary Stevens who rode Noble Power last time out gets on No. 12 Perfect Set. 2-4-10-12

Race 7

THE GRADE 2 SAN FELIPE

The real road to the Kentucky Derby for the west coast group of 3-year-olds starts here and all eyes will be focused on one of this year’s pre-derby favorites. No. 2 Flashback who will need to step it up a notch to beat No. 3 Goldencents, both colts have been working a hole in the wind. 2-3

THE 70K CHINA DOLL GOING A MILE ON THE GRASS

No. 8 Birdlover lover looks set for a big run today as does No. 9 Flashy Ways. No. 11 Judy in Disguise has won both of her starts since coming in from over the pond and now gets Stevens. 8-9-11

Race 9

20k maiden claimers go a mile. No. 2 Warren’s Parolee goes long, he will be out winging it and may not stop. No. 7 Solid South looks to wake up as he goes long in this his second start off the layoff. 2-7

Race 1

No. 2 Memo to Maggie has had her chances but may be able to win today. No. 3 Brite Judy drops back to this level once again and will be there late. No. 4 Senorita Cautelosa ships in from Santa Anita and gets the big drop in class and the bug boy gets on. 2-3-4

Race 2

No. 1 Lana Lang goes sprinting again and will find a fast past to run into. The main speed looks to be No. 4 An App for Abbie and No. 8 Scoot N Boogie Too who comes in off the long layoff. 1-4-8

No. 1 Dangerous Affair will try and go long but gets the rail and Baze. No. 3 Pawn Shop has been stuck in second gear the last three races but now Gryder will try and get her home. No. 6 Papaslilprincess looked good breaking her maiden last time out and should be able to go long. 1-3-6

Gryder is in town with shipper No. 1 Hidinginplainsight. Miyadi brings back to town No. 3 Madofwiththemoney who has won three of her five starts here. Sadler brings back No. 5 Rowdy Gal off an 11 month layoff, she won her only start here last year. 1-3-5

No. 2 What’s for Dinner is very fast and has won all 3 of his starts here. No. 9 Malibu Rum ships in for Hollendorfer and Baze, he will try and run down What’s for Dinner. 2-9

No. 5 Soft Shoulders lost by a neck here in her last start. No. 6 Nina Nicole comes to town for trainer Vann Belvoir who has won with four of his nine starters with three seconds and a third. 5-6
