Solis also sends out second time starter No. 7 Time for a Memory who ran third behind No. 8 Devine Way last time out and in that race Devine Way was sent off at .80 cents on the dollar and was steadied hard, she is the key. 2-5-7-8

No. 4 Pincelada is wheeled back in eight days off the easy wire-to-wire win, she will try and take them that route again. Both No. 6 Mary Contrary and No. 7 Cherry On the Cake drop into action spots. 4-6-7

Trainer Neil Drysdale brings in the classy looking French import No. 1 Lucayan who looks very live with these. No. 2 Obviously is the speed of the speed in here and will try and out run them. No. 3 Barocci has a great last work and will be sitting off a hot pace. 1-2-3

No. 1 Say Ow is very unlucky to still be a maiden and now will try and get the job done here at Hollywood Park on the cushion surface. No. 2 Smokin’ Bernie who is named after Baffert’s good buddy Bernie Shiappa gets Bejarano for his second start. 1-2

No. 4 Tiz Point who was pulled up in the Pomona Derby comes back off of an 8 month layoff and is put in with 40k claimers, all is not well but that back class and early speed will play well in here. No. 1 Midnight Crooner has won two straight here and now will get the move back up the ladder first off the Mark Glatt 25k claim. 1-4

Race 6

No. 2 Askingfortrouble has been working good for his first start off the 10 month layoff for Sadler. No. 7 Celebrity Status blitzed them here last time out at this distance and may be this good. 2-7

Race 7

No. 3 Stylish in Black exits out HTW list off a solid try in her first start. No. 4 Sidepocket Run gets off the grass and turns back to this 7 furlong distance, this filly looks to wake up big time. No. 5 Mia Lady exits the same race as Stylish in Black and also gets her second start. No. 7 Sweet Boss is a John Shirreffs first time starter, she has a nice work and her dam has dropped 5 winners from 5 starters. 3-4-5-7

Race 8

No. 3 Cogito faced much tougher in his two starts in the US last year, if ready he beats these. 3

Race 9

No. 2 Jimmy the Whip is a Mike Mitchell first time starter who finds little to beat in here. No. 9 Brown Boss showed some good early speed in his two races last year and Bejarano gets the leg up for Hess. 2-9

No. 10 Doubledeesonthetee just lost by a neck last time out at this turf distance and level and now gets Juan Hernandez in the irons. 6-7-10

No. 2 Citizen Bernstein gets her second start on this circuit and level, she will be hard to beat today. 2

No. 1 Imperative ships back in town for Harty and gets on the grass. No. 3 Olympic Blue has won two straight wire-to-wire on this turf course. The blinkers come back off on No. 4 Heat Streaker who won in his only start on this turf course. No. 6 Dr. Spin ships in for Neil Drysdale. 1-3-4-6

No. 5 Single Mark has some good works for this his first start. Baze gets on No. 7 Fonz for his buddy Jerry as this gelding gets his first start. 5-7

Race 8

Just love the win by the well bred No. 3 Dunbar in his first start on the grass. No. 7 Thirtyfirststreet looks to be coming around. 3-7
