This race is loaded with early speed and the one that will be making a big late run will be No. 2 Mystical Mark who ships in from Golden Gate and gets Corey Nakatani riding for trainer Ed Moger. No. 3 Itsalwayssomething won in game fashion here when breaking his maiden for a claiming price of 50k, he was claimed that day by John Sadler and now comes  back for 25k. With the new claiming rules we know Sadler can’t be bluffing, if something is wrong with the gelding the claim will be voided. 2-3

Race 2

2yo straight maiden fillies going 5 furlongs. We have two in here that are exiting our HTW list No. 6 Cause Ur My Babe and No. 7 Hugh Knew who was well bet in her first start. 6-7

Race 3

No. 1 Streets of Heaven drops back to the level of his last win and gets the jockey back that rode him that day, Bejarano. No. 7 Mr. Padre is a speedy 4yo gelding who ships in from Turf Paradise, he will try and take them wire-to-wire. 1-3

Race 4

No. 1 Bares Tripper takes a little drop in class and gets the hot riding bug boy Irving Orozco in the irons for the hot Peter Miller barn in this his second off the layoff. No. 3 Myntz Connection comes a good win and now will try the grass for the second time. She had no shot out of the one hole going down the hill at Santa Anita in her only other try sprinting on the green, she will go much better this time around in this 6 furlong turf sprint. No. 6 Joeandbetty’sbaby gets back to a sprint and will be making a late wide run, that last work here on the 8th says she is on go. 1-3-6

Race 5

No. 3 Super Dice almost got there when dropped to this 50k maiden claiming level last time out as he got nailed on the ling after leading from the bell and the one who finished 3rd behind him came back to win. No. 7 Rocky Barboa gets a class hike off a narrow loss first out, he will try and make a late run. No. 4 Saint Leo is the other speed. 3-4-7

Race 6

No. 1 Ricspretentiousgal clipped heels and fell last time out and was vanned off, it is a good sign that she comes back in this same spot, she is the speed on the rail. No. 6 Chokecherrymary exits a tough race and will go better in this spot as well as No. 8 Top Kisser the other speed. No. 7 Jolly Days likes this course and gets the Belmont winning jockey Mike Smith to ride. 1-6-7-8

Race 7 

No. 2 Paynter starts his 4yo campaign, he won the Grade 1 Haskel last July and will be odds on in here, but this is just a prep for bigger things so be very careful. No. 5 Majestic City comes off a Grade 3 event and he has won 3 of his 5 starts here. No. 6 Kate’s Event just won the Tiznow and is looking for his 3rd straight win but losses Bejarano who is on Paynter. 1-5-6

Race 8

No. 1 Romantic Wish exits our HTW list and gets the rail in this 1-1/16 turf route first off the claim. Trainer Ted West drops No. 4 Candy Trophy into a good spot. 1-4

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

This race sets up real nice for No. 4 Sparkle Joel and No. 5 Dos Eqkeys, both will sit back and pounce down the lane. 4-5

Race 2

No. 3 Nisus gets his second start off the layoff and first off the Miyadi claim and the new bug boy Ordaz gets the leg up. No. 4 U.R. Beat is the speed of the speed in here and has a nice work since his last start and gets a boost up in class off the claim. No. 6 Defying Logic likes to win races and he also gets a boast in class first off the claim. 3-4-6

Race 3

No. 2 Missdang Sally drops and gets back to 5½ furlongs. No. 3 My Coastie and No. 6 Snackable are the speed. 2-3-6

Race 4

No. 1 Past Time Paradise gets off the grass and drops into a great spot. No. 3 Party Machine took them wire-to-wire when stretched out to this 1-1/16 distance for the first time in his last start and will try and take them that route again. No. 5 Zip the Bag will fall into a good stalking position. 1-3-5

Race 5

The last time No. 1 McAllister Boys shipped in from Hollywood he got the win. No. 6 Da Jersey Express had a horrible trip last time out and is sitting on the win. 1-6

Race 6

Hess brings in No. 3 Valley of Kings from Santa Anita and keeps him claim proof, today could be the day. No. 4 Tricky Journey is back North and lands back in his old barn, this 5yo gelding has been working very good at Hollywood. 3-4

Race 7

25k maiden fillies and mares go 5 furlongs on the grass. No. 6 Comin Easy comes off the layoff for Hollendorfer, he ran two times last year and ran ok going down the hill at Santa Anita, bet him to cash! 

No. 6 win

Race 8

Hollendorfer has had enough with No. 2 Wildcat Angie as he drops her again trying to win and unload. No. 3 Dreamadora is always right there but seems to hang. 2-3
