She will find a good pace set up and is a must use out of this hot barn. No. 6 Rock U Up has good early speed but will need to sit off the hot pace that will be set by No. 2 Pincelada and No. 5 Cherry on the Cake, if able she will be right there. No. 3 Christmas Candy won in her only start here on the cushion surface, she gets the big drop in class and the bug boy Orozco.

Sire Midnight Lute has been a busy horse as he sends out another of his off spring in here first time starter No. 2 Blazing Lute who is very live with Tyler getting the leg up. Trainer Bob Baffert sends out the big dropper No. 7 Fly High and he puts jockey Eric Lopez in the irons and puts the blinkers on. 2-7

The very consistent No. 2 Toomanytomatoes gets her second try at this level and second off the Cody Autrey claim and this high percentage Midwest trainer is still looking for his first win at the meet, he could get it today. Jockey Bejarano gets the ride on No. 5 Villeneuve in this her second start in the states. No. 1 Miss Ellany showed big speed in the Grade 1 Gamely and may be sitting on a good one with Maldo taking over. 1-2-5

No. 2 On the Backstreets looks great when winning first out of the box at 9/5 as did her stablemate No. 4 Sensational Nikki, we will use both. 2-4

Race 5

The 7yo gelding No. 1 Mr. Bossy Pants continues to fire every time in these turf sprints and is the one to beat again. No. 2 Blue Jay Attack was a dwindling length behind Bossy last time out and now gets his first start off the Sadler claim. No. 4 Yes It’s Snowing also exits the race and he ran second just a half length behind the winner. 1-2-4

No. 1 Indian Classic gets his second start off the layoff and six furlongs, he will sit and pounce down the lane. No. 6 Spirit Rules is the price play off the layoff. 1-6

The high percentage trainer Wesley Ward ships in No. 4 Harper Rae from Churchill Downs were she ran a bang up second by ¾ of a length in a 5 furlong turf sprint in her first start, the winner of the race came right back and now this filly will try 6 furlongs on the grass. We say can do. 4

Trainer Sadler sends out the two we like in here, No. 2 Kobe’s Back a first time starter who really looks like a runner off a sterling work tab and No. 8 Street Icon who won at first asking. 2-8

No. 1 More Chocolate had a horrible trip in his last start at Churchill Downs on Oaks day, she has a sterling last work and is ready to rebound. No. 5 Open Water is the filly to fear late. 1-5

Race 10

We go from the Grade 1 Vanity to this 20k maiden claimer for fillies and mares going 5½ furlongs and to say this is a bad race would be an understatement. No. 8 Secret Memo is a very speedy 3yo filly who gets the ultimate maiden drop in So California, she will try and take them wire-to-wire. No. 12 Kandra is a first time starter for Doug O’Neill and this girl’s dam Ying Ying (Pirates Bounty) has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters and the O’Neill barn has been getting hot. 8-12

Race 1

We start the ten race card at the gate today with allowance fillies and mares going a mile on the grass, we will opt for the two 4yos in the race. No. 1 Vincenza winner in her first and only turf start in her last race and No. 3 Sudden Sunday who won her only turf start last year at Santa Anita. 1-3

Race 2

No. 5 Warrens Hornblower gets his first start off the claim and Baze takes over. No. 6 Shimmering Wildcat gets a needed drop in class and he won at this distance here when breaking his maiden. 5-6

We really need to hit the all button in this wide open 5 horse race but it is interesting that Kevin Krigger ships in with the Doug O’Neill first time starter No. 5 Perched. 5 (all)

Race 4

20k maidens going a mile on the grass. No. 1 Career Student almost took them wire-to-wire last time out when making his first start going long and his first on the grass. He was bet down to .60 cents on the dollar and will be a short price again. No. 6 One Mint Julep looks set to wake up anytime and it could be today with Hernandez getting the ride, this one will be flying with a big late run. 1-6

No. 2 Mr. Reaburn is always there but seems to hang, he finds a very easy crew today as he gets off the grass and drops back to the bottom and gets Alvarado back on. No. 9 Sir Huntsman is getting closer and could pop at a price. No. 10 Firebender ran good at this level and distance one race back. 2-9-10

Race 6

In here we get 20k maiden claimers going 1-1/16 on the grass. Trainer Lage put in a nice 7 furlong work into No. 2 Doubledeesonthetee and Terrero who just missed with him one race back gets the ride. No. 3 Hard Rockin Girl is in from Hollywood and has the same connections as Perched in the Lost in the Fox. No. 4 Gallant Charm just did miss last time out at this turf distance and level. No. 8 Prestige Worldwide ships in from Hollywood and lands in the John Martin barn and is a must use. 2-3-4-8

Race 7

No. 6 Battling Atticus is one of the in here that are consistent as he has hit the board in all nine of his starts here with 5 wins 3 seconds and a third, we will single in the pick three. 6

Straight maiden fillies and mares go 1 mile on the grass. Trainer Richard Mandella ships in the Tiznow first time starter No. 3 Tiz Gentle and Juan Hernandez will ride. Trainer Ordonez thought highly enough of No. 7 Miz Strawberry Dee to run her in a 100k on the grass last time out and she didn’t run that bad. Drysdale also sends out the Hollywood invader No. 12 Playful Humor who will be coming with a big late run under Dennis Carr. 3-7-12

Now we get 3yo 8k maiden fillies going 6 furlongs. No. 5 Dark Ocean showed good early speed in her fist start last time out but there are 5 first time starters in here that look live, this one is very tough and we will pass.

No. 4 Free Return is the speed while No. 6 Localsucess and No. 8 Good to Be King will try and run him down. 4-6-8
