There is a ton, and we mean a ton of early speed in this mile turf race, No. 1 Bio Pro has a big shot from his rail post if he can sit right behind the hot pace and find room turning for home, we will take our chances and say he finds the room. 1

No. 2 Ernie Owl comes back in just seven days off a huge win when coming from last to first in one gigantic move, No. 4 Stoneside drops trying to get back to the winners circle. 2-4

No. 5 A Red Tie Day gets the stretchout in this his second start off the layoff and has a real nice 6 furlong work on the 8th, No. 9 Quality Plan was sent off as the 7-5 chalk going long first out of the box for Baffert, he will try and take them wire-to-wire. 5-9

No. 5 Champman’s Peak drops to the level off his narrow loss one race back, No. 8 Gutshot Straight exits our HTW list and gets his first start off the big win and the claim. 5-8

No. 4 On the Fence ran a good one when sent the 1-1/16 turf distance last time out when just 1-3/4 behind the probable favorite in here No. 6 Turn On the Pumps who finished second by a 1/2 length. No. 7 Pulpit’s Express is the speed and gets his first start off the John Sadler claim. 4-6-7

No. 3 Teddy’s Promise is one tough lady who has won five of her nine starts here, No. 8 Include Me Out has been facing Grade 1 company and now will try and get the job done sprinting. 3-8

In this 5 furlong turf sprint No. 6 Forbidden City could pop the gate and not stop, No. 7 Lil Angelina is very consistent and won in her only turf start going a mile wire-to-wire. No. 8 Emmy’s Hall won on the 6 furlong Hollywood turf course last year and now gets a big drop in class. 6-7-8

No. 1 Katie’s Song comes off a nice win and can come right back at a decent price. 1

No. 6 Marmaris will find the right fast pace to get home on top today, No. 12 Rebecca’s Surprise ran good in her first try on the grass last time out and could make an impact at a price. 6-12

No. 1 Madame Pele gets her second start off the layoff and second here at the Gate, we like her chances, No. 4 Global Warming comes off the layoff and could fire even off of those slow comeback works.
