The bug boy Irving Orozco gets on No. 1 Too Fast to Pass, who drops in class for this 6 furlong turf sprint, we see a big effort. No. 3 Maquina could offer betting value, he has not run since last year at Woodbine when he won a 40k claimer, he hit the board in all five of his lifetime starts as a 2yo with 2 wins and 3 seconds. No. 6 Laugh At Life ran a good one on this course last out for 50k and now is in for this 40k claiming tag. 1-3-6

This is probably a prep for bigger things but she is a must use. Jockey Bejarano gets back on No. 4 Quizzical and the last 5 times he rode this filly he won 3 of them. Gary Stevens rides No. 5 Belle de Lune for his buddy Tom Proctor and the one time he ride this filly he got the win going down the hill at 11/1. 2-4-5

Race 6

We get an odd 7½ furlong race. No. 4 Sizzlin’ Joe has been going long on the grass and will like this odd 7½ furlong distance and the move to the cushion surface. We get the big time jockey change on No. 8 Raised a Secret who exits our HTW list, his last work was a pip, bet him to cash. 4-8

No. 2 Boat Trip will find the perfect pace to make his last run in this his second off the layoff, his last work her was super, bet him to cash! 2

In this 8k claimer for fillies and mares going 1-1/16, No. 5 Katy’s Kitty gets her price tag hacked in half and will try and take them wire-to-wire but she will need to deal with the other speedy dropper No. 8 Hidden Passion who just won here at this distance for a 16k price tag. Things could set up for No. 1 Bonita Star who will sit and pounce down the lane. 1-5-8

No. 1 Sunrise Legacy has been stabled here for awhile and looks ready to run off the layoff. No. 3 Shanghai Voyage is in from LA and is very speedy and in good form, Kyle Frey will ride. No. 4 Gold Coast Express looks right there with these at this 5½ furlong distance. 1-3-4

No. 1 Fly Blue ran second here in his only start, he is in top form and gets a top jock. No. 2 Jack’s Gone has run good in both of his starts with a win and a second. No. 7 El Tio Fernando has not won since she he broke his maiden here. 1-2-7

Race 8

We will take our shot and single No. 1 Perfect Verve who will get a good rail ride. 1
