This filly and mare maiden race is all about Baffert and Sadler, Baffert sends out two runners, first time starter No. 1 Rockabye Lady whose works say she is ready and No. 6 Illicit Affair who gets back to a sprint off the layoff. Sadler sends out No. 4 Burns Turn who has finished second in three of her four starts with a very close fourth sandwiched in between. 1-4-6

Race 2

No. 1 Lady Katfish gets a little drop in class and gets off the grass, she ran an ok third in her only try on this cushion surface, No. 2 Sultry Season also gets a needed drop in class and a turn back to sprinting. 1-2

Race 3

THE 70K LE CLE 1 MILE ON THE GRASS

No. 1 Wednesday doesn’t run any bad races and finished second in her one try going 1-1/16 here on the grass and the two times Bejarano rode her she won both of them, No. 2 Need You Now looks to be getting ready for her first win in the states. Gary Stevens who is riding lights out gets the ride on No. 6 Judy in Disguise, he will sit off the pace and pounce down the lane. 1-2-6

Race 4

No. 2 Far Rockaway gets a big drop in class and will find these much easier than what he has been up against, No. 7 Blazing Lute was bet like a good thing in his first start but broke slow down on the inside and just split the field, look for better today. 2-7

Race 5

No. 4 Elegant drops off the win for O’Neill and is the one to beat as they strike while the iron is hot, No. 5 Smart Striking could also strike, she gets back to a flat mile and won here one race back going this mile distance on the grass. 4-5

Race 6

No. 8 Decoy has good early speed, gets Talamo and drops trying to score, No. 3 Glorious Memories will be making a late run. 3-8

Race 7

The one time Stevens rode No. 2 Biorhythm for trainer Tom Proctor he got the win at Keeneland, she gets her second start here at the meet and Stevens is on board. 2

No. 1 You Know I Know crushed them from this post position going this distance here on June 1st, No. 2 Golden Itiz looked good winning here going 1-1/8 in his last start when Mike Smith got the ride, he sticks. 1-2

Race 9

Maiden 2yo going 5 furlongs on the grass and this is a real crap shoot, if you are able to watch the early betting then do, if not the best we can offer in this grab bag is third time starter No. 4 Geldautomat gets a big jockey switch to Bejarano, No. 5 Taelyns Prince is a first time starter for trainer Jeff Mullins and this 2yo colt is sired by the very good turf sire English Channel and Talamo who is battling with Bejarano for the riding title gets the call. No. 7 Settheworldonfire has the Unusual Heat breeding that is a yes sprinting on the grass but his stable has been as cold as ice. Trainer John Sadler sends out the Kitten’s Joy first time starter No. 8 Sunny Kat who should like the grass. Second time starter No. 10 Celtic Moon was well bet in his first start running a very even third, he can only move forward. 4-5-7-8-10

Race 4

Baze who is heading toward his 12 thousandth win gets on No. 2 Alar Sultan first off the Hollendorfer claim, trainer Jeff Bonde has been winning at .50 percent here and he sends out first-time starter No. 3 Market Notes off some good works. 2-3

Race 5

No. 5 Danz With K J gets the big drop in class and should handle these if ok, No. 4 King Budrick will be making a late run. 4-5

Race 6

No. 1 Fowler Road won here sprinting on June 20th and will try to take them wire-to-wire, No. 4 El Gran Matador just did get beat by a neck here on June 20th at this distance and is the one to beat. 1-4

Race 7

This looks like a wake up spot for No. 3 Baggot Street with Mawing in the irons. 3

Race 8

THE 50K EVERETT NEVIN

No. 4 Court Contender had his race over the track and will appreciate the extra half furlong today, No. 5 Redstone finished in front of the Court Contender after getting caught on the wire giving up a length lead in the stretch by No. 7 Luck Lasts who came back on to beat him. No. 8 Skydreamin is the stablemate of Court Contender and the one we like. 4-8**

No. 6 Cole Cole is in from Hollywood Park and gets the big drop in class, No. 7 Bobgeepers is a live first time starter along with No. 2 Lookout Scout. 2-6-7

Race 10

No. 4 Western Roses has won both of his starts here including his last at this distance on June 22nd. No. 5 Classic Crusader was flying late in his last start here going 6 furlongs and now will go long and he owns a win over this course. No. 7 C C’s Diamond will be making a big late run at the tiring speed. 4-5-7

No. 2 Our Black Beauty got hammered at the betting windows in her last win and may like it here, No. 5 Musical Arts gets a big drop in class. No. 7 Handful of Pearls finished a good second here on June 23rd. No. 11 Mazzy is a main player if she draws in from the also list. 2-5-7-11
