Race 1 

Normal double at Hollywood as we have six in the first race before scratches and five in the second race before scratches, so sad. No. 2 Inflamed Spirit gets a huge drop in class and the claim tickets will be flying for this 3yo colt, because if the vet says he is not 100% the claim will be voided. No. 3 Big Note is the speed but he is still looking for his first win in the states. No. 5 Stoneside continues his drop in class and will be right there late. 2-3-5

Race 2

Five go a mile on the grass and No. 4 Miss Ellany with Maldo riding is the lone speed on this rock hard turf course; a course that she just wired them on June 15th going 1-1/16. 4

Race 3

40k maiden 2yo go 5 furlongs. No. 4 Western Showdown is the best of the ones that have run and No. 7 Snowmass Village looks like a live first time starter. 4-7

Race 4

50k maidens go a mile on the grass. No. 1 Mikey T took some time off and now comes back in a live spot. No. 2 Cinco de Mario drops and will be part of the early speed along with No. 7 Horizontalyspeakin. Bejarano gets his second try aboard No. 5 Dontextndrive who gets back on the grass. 1-2-5-7

Race 5

30k maiden fillies and mares go 6½ furlongs. No. 5 Finao finds a soft spot for her first start. No. 6 Salt Tequila Lime gets her second start off the O’Neill claim, she has been well bet in all of her races. No. 7 My Best Ten lost all shot when she hopped out of the gate, she will go much better today. 5-6-7

Race 6

No. 2 Glorious Luck looked good when breaking her maiden on this 6 furlong turf course on June 15th and comes in off some nice works, she looks like a single but will need to show more early speed today. 2

No. 4 Almost Better looks spotted perfectly off the win here last out. 4

Race 8

2yo maiden fillies go 5 furlongs on the grass. No. 2 Concave looks ready for O’Neill. No. 8 Gagaoveryou ran good when well bet in her one and only start on the cushion surface and she will handle this hard grass course with Pedroza gunning from the bell. Gomez sticks around to ride No. 9 Amy Jane a first time starter for Peter Miller who sports a real nice 4 furlong work on the 6th. No. 1 Charissa is a first time starter with the rail and the bug boy Irving Orozco. 1-2-8-9

SACRAMENTO 

Race 2

The beautiful Sacramento fair starts today and Russell Baze looks to extend his winning record as he gets on No. 3 Ruler’s Peaches after that this is anyone’s race. 3

Race 3

No. 4 Kern River has been right there in his last two starts. No. 5 Nisus gets a big drop in class off the claim, he goes long and gets the bug boy Cesar Ordaz in the irons. No. 6 Sedona Ridge gets off the grass and Baze back on board. 4-5-6

Race 4

Second time starter No. 1 Dot’s Onthewarpath looks soild in this spot. No. 2 Tiz the Bliz ran a good second when dropped to this level in her last start. 1-2

Race 5

No. 5 Havanna Jack will try and turn the tables on No. 2 Pump N Up who beat him last time out. No. 6 Unlimited Spending will also have a say with the drop to this level. No. 8 Tiger Cat has two wins and a third from three starts here. 2-5-6-8

Race 6 

No. 1 Wild B C ran a nice even second at Pleasanton in his first start on June 20th and is the one to beat. No. 3 Warren’s Gecko ran a bang up second off the 2 year layoff and will be right there unless he bounces. 1-3

Q 1-3 and win and place 1

Race 7

No. 6 Deft Touch has been well bet in her last two starts off the layoff and may be set for her best. 6

Race 8

No. 2 Summer Pad gets off the grass, gets a big drop in class and a turn back in distance. No. 8 West Jet exits our HTW list off a solid 3rd first out of the box, she looks like the one today. 2-8
