Baffert sends out first time starter No. 1 Socialbug who is out of the dam Candytuft who has dropped seven winners from seven starters, Baffert also brings back No. 8 Humor Me who lost by a head at even money in her one and only start last year. 1-8

Race 3

Baffert looks to have the two main players in this race with the Curlin colt No. 2 Curly Top and No. 6 Everton who has a big time work over the track on the 15th. 2-6

No. 8 Tamarando exits our HTW list off a better than looked 4th in his first start, he has a good 5 furlong work since and looks ready to roll. 8

THE 150K CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’ HANDICAP

No. 2 Holladay Road gets back on the grass and was a close fourth in this race last year, No. 4 Lucky Primo has the ability to stalk right off the pace and they could play well in this race. 2-4

Race 6

The 2yo maiden fillies go in this 5-1/2 furlong sprint, Maldonado gets on the speedy Hollendorfer filly No. 2 My Lady’s Holiday, Tom Proctor sends out No. 4 Elite Eight who is out of the dam Four Plus Four who has dropped six winners from six starters. Baffert has two firsters in here No. 8 Fascinating off some good works and No. 10 Spring Moon who worked a good 5 furlongs here on the 15th. 2-4-8-10

Race 7

No. 1 Chapman’s Peak has run three times here and finished second all three, No. 7 Carbonite gets off the grass but can run on any surface. No. 9 Korban comes off the layoff but won here last year, almost a year to the day. 1-7-9

Race 8

THE GRADE II SAN CLEMENTE HANDICAP

No. 2 Iotapa has three wins and two seconds from her five lifetime starts, she just finished second in the Grade II Hollywood Oaks and now will test the grass, No. 8 Charlie Em won the Grade III Senorita at Hollywood going this mile turf distance and it is interesting that the low profile jockey Agapito Delgadillo gets the leg up for trainer Paddy Gallagher. 2-8

Race 9

Lots of early speed in the last race and that will set things up for No. 5 Warren’s Parolee who woke up last time out when moved to the cushion surface at Hollywood, Bejarano will ride, No. 8 Hustlin Nu will sit and try and make one run. 5-8

SACRAMENTO 

Race 3

No. 1 U. R. Beat is the speed on the rail and he will be playing catch me if you can, No. 3 Da Jersey Express a horse we had when he won his last start at Pleasanton at 12-1 will try and run him down. 1-3

First time starter No. 6 Bobgeepers has a big work for this and finds little to beat. 6

No. 6 Pepper Me goes long off the layoff and off of back-to-back mile works, she could light up the tote, No. 7 Lady Liz goes long and will like it. No. 8 Play Misty for Us is in from Hollywood and gets the big drop in class. 6-7-8

Race 6

No. 6 Sky Fox ran good at a mile against better and now will try and go a sixteenth longer as he gets stretched back out. 6

Race 7

We have been waiting for No. 2 No Games to return to the races, she exits our HTW list off a narrow loss and is the one to beat, No. 3 Citizen Bernstein has some big early speed and she continues her drop in class searching for the win. No. 5 Gianis finished second when dropped to this level in her last start. 2-3-5

Race 8

$5,000 maiden claimers and they look it, No. 2 Warren’s Gecko and, No. 5 Pacific View are the main two. 2-5

Race 9

No. 4 Elusive Plains won at first asking at Pleasanton for this hook up of Alvarado and Hollendorfer, No. 6 Rush In will be making a big late run. 4-6

Race 10

No. 8 Xcuse Me Monto will sit off the hot early pace and mow them down in the lane. 8

Race 11

No. 1 O Wild West Wind finished second when dropped to this level last time out, No. 2 Excessive Payne gets off the grass and gets the drop in this his third start. No. 5 Pepper Sweet is a first time starter who has been gearing up for this off of some long works. No. 6 Cole Cole is the stablemate of Excessive Payne and the speed. 1-2-5-6
