He was sent off at even money in his first start but got caught in a speed duel and faded to fourth, he will not give it up today. No. 7 Bourne Hot is out of the dam Exellensea who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters and jockey Bejarano makes a rare ride for O’Neill. 4-7

No. 4 Glad’s Gals exits our HTW list off a solid try when coming off a year on the shelf. No. 5 Julio’s Gold will show all of her speed today at this 20k level, if she can clear early she will be hard to catch. No. 9 Scary Fast also has good early speed and just missed when dropped to this level in her last start, she will be tracking Julio from the bell. No. 10 U R My Candy Girl gets her first start off the Morey claim and Bejarano will ride. 4-5-9-10

No. 4 Sweet Marini looks the speed of the speed in here with No. 6 Doinghardtimeagain who has won going 7 furlongs the one to fear. 4-6

Its been a while since No. 5 Twitch broke her maiden and may have found a field where she can notch that elusive win number two. No. 7 Splendiferous Moon has also found a good spot to wake up as she gets off the grass for the first time. 5-7

In this straight maiden face for 3yo Baffert sends out two with No. 2 Quality Plan a 350k purchase who gets Bejarano in the irons today, he gets a turn back in distance and looks tough in this spot. He also sends out No. 8 Magic Daddy who is a 575K purchase, he has back to back good works over the track.

We get maiden fillies and mares going 1-1/16 on the grass. We get three that are exiting our HTW list, No. 6 Winning Rhythm who will be making a big late run, No. 7 Iconic Spirit off the layoff for Sadler and No. 12 Ginger Tap who is stuck on the also list. 6-7-12

Race 2

No. 3 Contemplated comes off a nice win at Pleasanton and gets his first start off the Mathis claim. The very steady No. 7 Incisive is the main dangers. 3-7

No. 4 Suntanned ran his best race when stretched out to this mile distance in her last start at the Sacramento Fair. No. 8 Enter Back gets her first shot at going long. 4-8

Race 4

We go 5 furlongs on the grass. No. 3 Inexplicably ran on this course last year and had a horrible trip. No. 4 Red Rachel is in from Santa Anita, she gets Baze and Hollendorfer first off the 30k claim, bet her to cash. No. 6 Best by Far looked good when crushing her field first out of the box, she has a big last work and is spotted for action. 3-4-6
