No. 11 Luz Atticus ran right behind Manewal last time out. 4-7-11

Race 2

If you are a trainer or owner you would want to take a shot in here with Cal Bred fillies and mares going 5 furlongs on the grass for a purse of 77k, No. 3 Ziva the Diva ran a good second the one time she sprinted on the grass going this 5 furlong distance at the Gate, No. 5 Atta Girl Alma is the filly to beat of her good second at this level last time out on this 5 furlong turf course. No. 7 Tangerine Tickle comes out of a good race in which the filly who beat her by a nostril came right back to score again, she exits our HTW list in this her second start off the long layoff. No. 8 Promiscuoussuances has big early speed and exits the same race as Atta Girl. 3-5-7-8

Race 3

20k maiden fillies and mares start yet another pick six carryover today, No. 4 Lethal Miss drops from the ranks of straight maidens and gets off the grass, No. 5 Calameera gets her second start off the layoff and a good second as the chalk when dropped to this level last time out. Trainer Vann Belvoir is having a good meet and he sends out first time starter No. 6 Spritzy who draws Bejarano, she looks like a runner. No. 10 Scary Fast lost by a neck last time out at Hollywood when dropped to this level off the layoff, she has had some time to recoup from that big effort and looks solid in here. 4-5-6-10

Race 4

These shippers from the Cal Fair circuit have been jumping up and winning and we get another in here with No. 1 Pawn Shop who ships in first off the claim and Bejarano jumps aboard, No. 3 Lindz Winz has some big early speed, she gets a big drop in class and will be sent long, she will take them as far as she can on the front end. 1-3

Race 5

We get maiden fillies and mares running a flat mile for a purse of 75k, No. 3 Hot and Pleasing gets off the grass and gets a huge rider upgrade, No. 4 Tiz a Kiss goes long for Sadler and Leparoux in this her third start, her last work says she will fire a big shot. Gary Stevens who is winning at a .31% rate here at Del Mar gets on No. 7 Keldy as she also gets off the grass. 3-4-7

Race 6

No. 5 Cosmic Heat will be a nice price play first off the Ron Ellis claim and off our HTW list, the one time Bejarano rode No. 6 Frenemy he went wire-to-wire going this mile distance, he has two bingo works for this. No. 8 Unbridled Giant is the speed of the speed for Baffert. 5-6-8

Race 7

There are 11 horses entered in the Green Flash going 5 furlongs on the grass and only eight can run No. 1 Sirocco Stike is in top form and comes off a good second in her last race on this 5 furlong turf course, she was third by a neck in this race last year, No. 3 Circa’sgoldengear owns a win on this course and ran a better than looked fourth behind Sirocco in his first off the layoff. No. 4 Distinctiv Passion went wire-to-wire on this course last time out when beating Sirocco and Circa, he may have some pressure from Gary Stevens who will ride No. 5 Strong Wind who comes off a real nice win last out on this course. 1-3-4-5

Race 8

No. 2 Frannie’sspirittoo looks to have found a group of maiden fillies and mares she can beat, No. 4 Reclusive is a first time starter out of the dam Keepers Hill who has dropped three winners from three starters. Mike Mitchell drops second time starter No. 8 Dolphin Shorts two class levels, a move that gets him around .35% winners. You need to take notice whenever Gomez sticks around for the last race and does with No. 10 Party Bus who takes his second start at this level. 2-4-8-10
