Trainer Doug O’Neill has really heated it up and he sends out No. 2 Royal Meridian second off the layoff and puts the bug boy Irving Orozco in the irons, his last works on the 10th says he is on go! 2

O’Neill sends out No. 2 Fear the Beard who looked to wake up in his last start when dropped in class, we think he is sitting on the win at this level. 2

No. 1 Reneesgotzip is in top form and is two for two here at Del Mar, Gary Stevens gets aboard No. 3 Sugarinthemorning for Ron McAnally and these two hall of famers look to have a say with they turn back to a sprint. No. 5 Sweet Marini is the speed and will play catch me if you can. 1-3-5

No. 4 Somethings Unusual just did miss here last time out when going 1-1/16 on the grass he will go a flat mile today and gets Bejarano in the irons, No. 7 Tom’s Tribute exits out HTW list and ran second a neck in from of Somethings Unusual, we will use both in the players pick five and make an exacta box tossing in No. 9 My Samurai Warrior who also exits the race and gets the break in the weights, he was just a 1/2-length behind the top two. 4-7-9

No. 8 Gnarly Dude gets a little drop in class second off the claim and Talamo gets back on, he won with this gelding the only time he rode him, No. 1 Malibu Knight looks live off the layoff. 1-8

We get the 2yo crap shoot in this race with 2yo straight maiden fillies going 5-1/2 furlongs, Baffert sends out three first time starters but we will try and beat all three and go with No. 7 Spring Again a firster for Wesley Ward who is at his best with young horses and No. 10 Wild Caroline from the barn of Mike Puype, this filly has been working like a runner and Gary Stevens who has probably been on her in the mornings will ride. 7-10

No. 1 Unusual Hottie is in the best top form and just did miss here last time out, she ran second in this race last year as a 3yo, No. 2 Halo Dolly was the girl who beat Hottie last year in the Solana Beach and has won three of her four starts here. 1-2

Race 9

In this race we get the straight maiden 2yo boys going 5-1/2 furlongs as they want to make the late pick four and the pick six as tough as they can and they did, No. 5 Tamarando finished a good second last time out when exiting our HTW list, he will enjoy the extra half a furlong today, No. 9 Johns Journey showed some good early speed in his first start despite bobbling at the start. 5-9

No. 5 Red Vine is in town for Clement and off his last two starts he is the one to beat, Gary Stevens will ride for his old buddy Tom Proctor on the Arlington Park shipper No. 6 Self Confident this one is a big time player in here. 5-6 exacta box 5-6

No. 1 Fata Morgana is bred for the grass and will like the move North, No. 6 Sheza Trip showed good early speed when sprinting on the grass at Santa Rosa and now will try and take her speed wire-to-wire at this mile turf distance. 1-6

Race 7

No. 7 Expensive Pens will find the right pace to make his late run, No. 10 Kevinator finally got the win and could come right back. 7-10

No. 6 Jaz Unlimited is a 3yo filly facing older, but the others aren’t much and she is ready to run on the grass, No. 11 Misty North another 3yo in the race will be trying to run them all down late. No. 12 English Lace is an English Channel 4yo filly who makes her first start on the grass a surface she is bred to love, she will wake up in this spot. 6-11-12
