No. 2 Clouds Clearing won at first asking at Del Mar for a 50k price tag, No. 3 Z Z Way also won at Del Mar at first asking for a 30k price tag. 2-3

Race 3

These longer races at the Fair have been won by horse coming from out of it, but since none of these 2yo fillies have been further than 6 furlongs and now must go 1 1/16 it becomes a guessing game and when in doubt at Fairplex bet Pedroza and he is on No. 5 Ascription for trainer O’Neill. 5

Race 4

No. 2 Tommy’s Tune just won on the dirt at Santa Rosa and now gets his first start off the claim, No. 4 Clever Concept gets a turn back in distance and looks spotted for the win. No. 5 Teddy the Bear won here on the 7th and will be tough right back. 2-4-5

Race 5

No. 1 One Firm Cat just won at this 7 furlong distance at Del Mar but that was there, she will be making a late run at them, No. 2 Change of Plan was caught on the wire by One Firm Cat and will try and hold him off today. 1-2

Race 6

No. 8 Punxsutawney Phil just failed to hold here on the 7th but he just may today, after him this one is wide open. 8

Race 7

No. 1 Artistic Design ships in from Canterbury Park off the win and finds a good spot, trainer Quinn Howey who owned the Ferndale meet sends out one of his winners here No. 3 Honkers Holiday. 1-3

Race 8

No. 1 Tones has some big back class but this 4yo colt must have some serious problems as O’Neill drops him into this 8k claimer, he may be a good pick up for breeding purposes, if he has three legs he can win this, No. 3 Afleet Cowboy and No. 7 Iron Joe T are the main danger horses. 1-3-7

Race 9

No. 2 Gittel just did miss at this 1-1/16 distance on the Pleasanton dirt, Sadler don’t run many here but sends out No. 6 Ubelongtomemissy who looks well spotted. No. 9 Tebowing gets his first start off the Julio Canani claim and looks ready to run a good one off that last work. 2-6-9

Race 10

THE 100K BARRETTS JUVENILE STAKES

Baffert, Baffert where are you, wow no BB’s in this race, No. 1 Gangnam Guy has been facing better, he gets the rail and Maldonado who has been picking it up, No. 6 I Earned It Baby gets Bafferts go to rider on board for Carla Gaines off a good win first out of the box. No. 7 Hirschy is looking to stay undefeated and win his third straight race for Hollendorfer, he puts Martin Pedroza in the irons. No. 9 Echo Zulu finished second here at .70 cents on the dollar on the 11th four days ago and is wheeled back by Peter Miller.

No. 3 Classic Candy is a dangerous dropper with speed and Maldo getting the leg up, No. 6 Heaven’s Bargain is back in seven days after a good second. 3-6

Race 1

No. 3 Atticus’ Ghost has a good last work and may be a good price, No. 6 Brite Judy looks to be sitting on a win. No. 9 Dilly’s Dancer is in from Del Mar and gets Baze riding for Morey, she will be over bet. 3-6-9

Race 2

No. 2 Missdang Sally has two wins, a second and a third from four starts here, No. 4 Cajun Market has kept her good form and is a player. No. 5 Cherry On the Cake looks to be the speed on the drop down. 2-4-5

Race 3

No. 4 Beast of Bourbon ships in from Del Mar off the Morey claim, he hits at almost 40% first off the claim. 4

Race 4

No. 1 Spectrus ran a good second in his first try on this circuit at this level, No. 7 Hunted Guy is loaded with bullets off the layoff and the drop in class. 1-7

Race 5

No. 2 Angel of Harlan is a first-time starter that could be live at a big price, if No. 10 Lady Liz can handle the grass she will be right there. 2-10

Race 6

Hollendorfer sends out two runners in this race the one we like is No. 5 Bottle Blonde off of her last race with Mawing getting his first ride on her, No. 7 Sugar Spice is a very fast mare in from Del Mar where she won both of her starts. 5-7

Race 7

5 furlongs on the grass, No. 5 King Kelly ran a real good race going down the hill at Santa Anita and the price will be right, we will take our shot. 5

Race 8

The last time No. 3 Chapman’s Peak won it was here, he has a nice last work and gets Baze, No. 8 Anytime Magic ships in for Hess and drops into a spot where he will be dangerous. No. 12 Floating Feather gets his first start off the claim and a good effort at Del Mar. 3-8-12

Race 9

We go 5 furlongs on the grass again, No. 3 Special Holiday is one for one here at this 5 furlong turf distance and comes off a good win at Santa Rosa at this same distance on the grass, No. 7 My Gal Candy gets her first start off the Hollendorfer claim and gets Baze. 3-7

Race 10

No. 2 No Games has run good in both of her starts, No. 9 Forgotten Pearl gets the big drop off the long layoff. 2-9
