No. 5 Storm the Channel is bred for this mile turf trip and could be a good price first out of the box. No. 6 Shiva Ryan is in from Calder and exits a good mile turf race there as he finished third after a slow start and the horse that ran second came back to score next out. No. 7 All for Us is in from Arlington Park for trainer Tom Proctor who puts his buddy Gary Stevens in the irons. 5-6-7

No. 8 Kristo was a 500k purchase, he was sent off at .60 on the dollar in his first start but had to settle for second, that last work was a pip and he will take some beating today. 8

THE GRADE 1 CHANDELIER WIN AND YOUR IN THE FILLIE JUVENILE

No. 1 Fasinating is a 1.3 million purchase who trainer Bob Baffert has high hopes for. She is still a maiden, but he is due to wake up at any minute. The filly to beat in here is No. 7 Secret Compass Baffert’s other runner who gets the services of Rosie Napravnic. You must take notice when she rides for Baffert, she will be making a big late run. 1-7

THE GRADE 1 RODEO DRIVE WIN AND YOUR IN THE BC F&M TURF

No. 2 Lady of Shamrock is an outstanding 4 for 6 here on the grass, she had a troubled trip in last year’s BC mile turf. No. 3 Tis Flirtatious is a 5yo mare who is one very tough cookie who has never been off the board in her 11 races with 7 wins. No. 7 Marketing Mix beat Tiz Flirtatious the last time they met by a head. 2-3-7

THE GRADE 1 FRONTRUNNER WIN AND YOUR IN THE BC JUVENILE

The key 2yo in this race is No. 7 Dance With Fate who ran a spectacular race last time out in the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity. After having a horrible trip he was a fast closing 2nd by a ½ length, we will key him with two exiting the same race. No. 4 Can the Man and No. 6 Tamarando. 7** with 4-6

No. 2 Macaabra gets her second state side start and she just did miss in her first try at this mile turf distance. No. 12 Burns Turn is the main danger if she can get the trip from her far outside post. 2-12

We will take a stand in this race and single the classy No. 5 Flashy American who Kenny McPeak ships in from back east, the cagy Julien Leparoux will ride. 5

THE GRADE 1 AWESOME AGAIN WIN AND YOUR IN THE BC CLASSIC

No. 6 Take Control comes off the year layoff for Baffert and Rosie gets the ride, very interesting. No. 7 Paynter hated the Saratoga slop and will be at his best today. 6-7

Down the hill we go in the UNZIP ME. No. 6 Travesura broke her maiden on this course last year. No. 7 Judy in Disguise won here going down the hill in the Sweet Life back in February. No. 8 Pontchatrain is on a win every other race pattern and gets Gary Stevens riding for Proctor. 6-7-8

No. 2 Go Wheeler Go is a very live first time starter who has been working good. No. 4 Yahoo Tahoe comes off a trouble trip. No. 7 Pete’s Slew is another first time starter who has been working very good. No. 8 Highly Cynical is another first time starter who could pop and he is the stablemate of Go Wheeler Go. 2-4-7-8

No. 4 No Slippahs has good early speed and that will play well with these girls. No. 7 Dream of Daisy comes off a good win on the grass at Golden Gate and she will be rolling late. Russell Baze comes to town and will ride No. 8 Cuore Bella for his buddy Jerry. 4-7-8

No. 6 Rebel My Man gets a turn back in distance and that could do the trick today with the slight drop in class. No. 7 Classical Hy gets an extra furlong and that make him the one to beat. 6-7

Baze rides No. 1 Sonoftokayana for trainer Mike Lenzini, he drops trying to cash. No. 5 Far Out is the one to beat with the drop to this level. No. 8 Kevinator has never been off the board in his five starts at four different tracks dirt and synthetic. 1-5-8

THE 50K HARVEST STAKES

This is the reason Baze is here as he rides No. 5 Twitter Pie for trainer Jeff Bonde, she has been working good on the Santa Anita dirt. No. 7 Marks Mine always gives her best as she has won 5 of her 11 starts with 3 seconds and 2 thirds. 5-7
