SANTA ANITA
Race 1
No. 2 Black Witch has been a real expensive dud for Baffert but he has not given up on this filly and the return to dirt could wake her up, interesting that jockey Gary Stevens rides comebacker No. 6 Blonde Fog for trainer Bob Baffert when his buddy Tom Proctor has a filly in the race that he rode the last two times. 2-6
Race 2
No. 3 Wittgenstein has been facing tougher and will find a fast early pace to make her late run, No. 6 Warren’s Veneda will also be making a late run at the speed. 3-6
Race 3
In this five horse race Baffert sends out the main two with No. 2 Spring Moon who looked special off her win first out at Del Mar and No. 5 Cadron who won first out of the box at .80 cents on the dollar. 2-5
Race 4
This is the fourth of four filly races and in here we get fillies and mares going down the hill, No. 9 Joeanbetty’sbaby gets her first start off the Doug O’Neill claim and he sends her down the hill and she won here on this downhill turf course back in March, we will single in the players pick five. 9
Race 5
We will need to go deep in this 2yo filly straight maiden race starting with Baffert who sends out his usual two with No. 1 India’s Song and No. 2 Contrasting. Mike Puype sends out No. 5 Wild Caroline a second time starter with Bejarano, she exits a key race. Stevens who was on Wild Caroline last time out opts for No. 6 Costamar who he also rode. No. 7 Salsita ran a good second in her one and only and can only move forward. 1-2-5-6-7

No. 10 Lake Maracaibo ran second in both of her trips down the hill, she will be right there. No. 11 Moon Ride exits a key race and the move to the grass is a plus. 4-7-10-11
Race 7
Interesting that Bejarano gets on No. 1 Ol’ Steely Blue for this low profile barn in this 10k claimer, he is a must use, No. 2 Half Dome Dude’s last win came here last December on a wet track. 1-2
Race 8
More fillies and mares, this time they go a flat mile on the grass, Aaron Gryder who is trying hard to get his feet back in with some good barns rides the consistent No. 7 Tangerine Tickle, he will be trying hard, No. 9 Chimi Dee and No. 10 Tiz a Classy Lass will both be making big late runs on this turf course that has been favoring closers. 7-9-10
Race 9
We get 20k 3yo and up maidens in the last race, No. 4 Grant has been showing good speed in his last two starts and that will play well in this field, No. 5 Ice Cream Truck gets the bug boy Orozco in what looks to be the money run. No. 7 Attempt exits the same race as Grant and he will be coming late. No. 8 Kingsbury has run second here two times from three starts here, Leparoux gets on No. 9 Warren’s Cliff S. who is a main player here. 4-5-7-8-9
