This race is very similar to the first race with a lot of early speed, No. 7 Heyyoucan has proven he can sit back and make a late run and No. 6 Horse Laugh also will try and make a late run. No. 3 Takem by Surprise may be the speed of the speed. 3-6-7

THE GRADE III HOLLYWOOD PREVUE

We have been waiting for No. 4 Kobe’s Back to make his return after crushing his foes in the Willard Proctor first out of the box at 9/5, we think he is this good and may be on his way to a Kentucky Derby run if all goes well. 4

No. 1 English Crossing is in good form and owns a win on this mile turf course, No. 2 Fantastic Mizz also owns a win here and she gets her first start off the 40k Jack Carava claim. 1-2

Race 5

The last time No. 2 Say Say was here at Hollywood she ran for this 16k price tag and got the win, No. 3 Funny Gal also won the only time she raced on this synthetic surface. No. 8 Tribal Dress has good early speed and will be right there from the bell. 2-3-8

No. 1 Serene Melody ran a good one in her only turf try and she will love this 1-1/16 turf distance today, No. 4 Lakota Road who was sired by the great turf runner War Chant just could pop at a good price off her last at the Gate. No. 8 Shrilanka exits our HTW list and gets her second start off the layoff, she is a main player. 1-4-8

Baffert sends out first-time starter No. 3 Five Palms for his buddy Mike Pegram and company, No. 7 The Cleaners exits our HTW list off a solid effort last time when coming off the layoff. Jockey Bejarano who rode the Cleaners last time out ops for No. 2 Street Status who ran a nice even race in his first start for trainer Marty Jones. 2-3-7

Race 8

In this 6 furlong turf sprint No. 2 Miss Lucky Sevens ran a good one last time out going down the hill at Santa Anita, No. 3 Zia Zia Zia won in her only start here on this 6 furlong turf course and has a great last work for this. Mike Smith has been on No. 4 Scherzinger two times and won both times. No. 8 Blues and Silvers is the stablemate of Zia. 2-3-4-8

Race 9

The last time trainer David Hofmans sent out a first-time starter in a maiden claiming race he won by 10, he sends out first-time starter No. 5 Cheeky Stone, No. 7 Browsing is the one to beat off her race first out of the box last time out when a fast closing second, she gets an extra furlong today. 5-7

Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh here I am at No. 1 Camp Granada who is in top form, Baze does his buddy Lloyd Mason a favor and gets on No. 2 Soldiers Point for this ice cold barn. 1-2

No. 2 Peppered Forest gets back to a better level, No. 8 Winona Louise may like going long on the grass. 2-8

No. 2 Quick Glory gets Baze and that may be enough, No. 9 Tiz Blushing will be very tough at this level. 2-9

No. 4 Stop the Clock has been right there in all three of his turf races and will be very hard to beat today, we will be singling in the picks. 4

No.  3 Two Parts drops back to the level of his last win, No. 4 Fly Blue has a good work for this. No. 6 Piana Man is the one to beat at this level with Baze getting back on board. 3-4-6
