Race 1

This is the first race for the last meet forever here at legendary Hollywood Park, it’s a very sad day for racing and California racing as they just can’t wait to get the wrecking ball in action, but we must go on and we will. We start this big 11 race card with maidens going a mile on the grass, No. 3 Wicked Finance just missed by a neck on this course at this mile distance in his last start, No. 4 Super Sam never ran a step in his first start but could wake up on the grass and had a big last work. No. 5 Aqua Revelation has been right there in his last three on the grass and he also had a big last work. 3-4-5

Race 2

Jockey Bejarano has ridden No. 4 Warren’s Assassin two times getting a win and a second, No. 8 Hugger of Trees is in from the Gate and finds a nice spot. No. 7 Valarta finally got the win in start number 10 in his first try on this cushion surface. 4-7-8

Race 3

No. 7 Highly Rated gets her first start off the Hollendorfer claim and she is the speed, catch her to win. 7

Race 4

No. 9 Handsome Dennis gets the needed drop out of the straight maiden ranks to this 20k maiden claimer, he will wake up big time. 9

Race 5

No. 2 Warren’s Judy gets back to 6 furlongs the distance of her win one race back, jockey Kayla Stra gets on the John Martin Golden Gate shipper No. 5 One Magical Girl who fits with these. No. 8 Wink and Wish has good early speed and that will play well at this level. The big dropper No. 1 Mia Isabel will try and run them down late. 1-2-5-8

Race 6

It could be now or never for No. 8 Secret Memo who almost got there in try 12 in her last race, maybe 13 will be the magic number, No. 9 Miss Go Free gets just her second start, she gets off the grass and drops to a better level. No. 10 Moon Ride was the beaten favorite in her last start for 40k and now moves in with 20k maidens. 8-9-10

Race 7

We get 25k claimers going 6 furlongs on the grass, No. 7 Korban came close here in his last start on the main and now this 7yo gelding will try grass for the first-time and he may like it, No. 8 Dixieland Blues gets Bejarano back in the irons and the one time he rode this 5yo gelding he just missed by a head going down the hill. 7-8

Race 8

Peter Miller sends out the Midnight Lute first-time starter No. 4 Steal the Lute, Baffert sends out first-time starter No. 6 Zensational Beauty off some good works. Sadler sends out first-time starter No. 8 Koukla who also looks ready to roll off that last 5 furlong work here on the 14th. 4-6-8

Race 9

No. 6 Volkonsky gets back on the grass and will find a very fast early pace to make his last run, we will single in the late pick four. 6

Race 10

This is a very weak field for a 200k race, No. 9 Aotearoa is a two-time winner and comes off a good second in the Grade III Generous on the grass, he will like this 7 furlong distance and will handle the cushion surface, No. 8 California Chrome has been working a hole in the wind for this race. 8-9

Race 11

This will be the last race of the day, the last race of the meet and the last race forever at Hollywood Park so save your form and program. The question is who will be remembered forever? No. 2 Moonlit Meteor is in top form and comes off a good win in his first try on the grass and first at the distance, No. 4 Anythingscookin is the speed of the speed and gets a big jock switch. No. 5 Woodmans Luck has been a hanger in all of his races but gets his second start off the claim and has a big time last work and this trainer is very good second off the claim, he will be flying late. No. 9 Danderek will fall into a good stalking position right behind Anythingscookin, he will try and get the jump on the rest. No. 11 Depreciable also has some speed and will be right on or near the pace. No. 12 Insideondoutside is proven on the grass. 2-4-5-9-11-12
