No. 1 Golden Itiz took a shot at in a Grade 3 at Emerald Downs in his last start finishing a solid 3rd. He returns and the hot riding Mike Smith is back in the irons. No. 4 Carlsbad Mountain looks to be the one to catch.

No. 2 Tribal Dress is back at the level of her last win and Nakatani who was on for that win gets back on board. No. 5 Anita Marie also gets back to the level of her last win and the jockey who was on for that win, Bejarano gets back on board. 2-5

Race 4

This is a race that you either take a shot at beating No. 3 High On Final or just pass. High On Final will be odds on with these as he drops in for a 20k price tag after running 3rd in both of his starts against straight maidens, so WHY!. 3

Race 5

As we start the road to the Kentucky Derby we have the Grade 3 Sham. No. 1 Kristo is the speed on the rail. No. 6 Midnight Hawk won like a good thing first out of the box when sent off at 6/5, he is this good.

We will go inside outside in this 8k claimer starting with No. 1 Peacenik the speed and moving to the outside we will use No. 11 Justa Gusta who will sit off the pace and try and make a late run as will No. 7 Private Bounty. 1-7-11

Race 7

We will use two exiting the same race No. 5 Anythingscookin the speed and No. 10 Danderek the 8yo gelding who still has a lot of run in him. 5-10

THE GRADE 2 SAN PASQUAL

No. 1 Blingo is back from a short but successful trip to Belmont Park where he won a 100 grander at almost 20-1, his works since say he can win this. No. 2 Blueskiesnrainbows is in top form and will be the one to run down. 1-2

Race 9

Mike Smith sticks around to ride No. 8 Friendswith K Mill who will try going down the hill. No. 10 Distillery exits a key race in which he had a very wide trip, look for a much better effort today. No. 11 Relative Time exits back to back very tough races when facing Chitu and Global View. 8-10-11

Race 1

We will go with the uncoupled entry for Armando Lage in the first race using No. 1 Wine and Song the speed and No. 2 American Aristocat the closer who sports a bullet work her on the 4th. 1-2

Race 2

Of the ones that have run well there is not much to say about them, so we will opt for a first time starter No. 2 Lower Takeout who looks ready to fire at a price and we will play the early double with a lower takeout. 2

Race 3

No. 3 Charlie Time ran a better than looked race in her first start here. No. 7 Chat With Me drops a notch and gets an extra half a furlong. 3-7

Race 4

No. 3 Anytime Magic gets back to 6 furlongs and also gets the jockey that was on for his win one race back. No. 7 Bridge Jumper is the dropper with speed in this his second off the layoff. 3-7

Race 5

No. 4 Handful gets Baze. No. 5 Secret Cove exits the same race in which she lost by a dwindling neck. 4-5

Race 6

No. 5 Candy Eye gets her second start here and  she also gets Baze and the stretchout, we will single in the late pick four. 5

Race 7

The bug boy from Santa Anita Drayden Vandyke ships in with No. 1 Shoer Hugh for trainer Peter Miller. No. 4 Robertino also ships in and he won at first asking in his last start at Anita and now lands in the barn of Jerry Hollendorfer. No. 6 Wildfire Kid looks best of the Golden Gate runners in here. 1-4-6

Race 8

No. 3 McBoomer has done little wrong of late winning four of her last seven starts with two seconds. No. 4 Loveintheshadows beat the Boomer last time out. 3-4

Race 9

No. 2 Localsucess drops off the win and this trainer hits at around .60% with this move. No. 4 Jerry’s Fever is in top form and will be on or near the front end. No. 6 Four to Score exits the same race as Local and now drops with him to the level of his last win. 2-4-6
