Trainer Diodoro having a good meet, he got his claiming money back on No. 4 Dunmore East with the win last time out her on January 20th and now drops down below the original claimed price trying to get another win. 2-4

Race 2

No. 2 Buckingham Bull is in top form and the filly to beat. No. 3 Boller Bomb beat the Bull at Del Mar and gets her first start off the 40k Kristin Mulhall claim. No. 4 Fantastic Mizz will be very tough at this 50k level. 2-3-4

Race 3

No. 4 Holy Candy will find a fast early pace to sit up his late run. No. 6 Hear the Ghost faced Grade 2 company in his last start and will find these much easier. 4-6

Race 4

Down the hill they go. No. 6 Blushing Martha got bobbed going down the hill in her last start and now moves up in class but these are not much tougher, we will single. 6

Race 5

No. 3 Appealing Resume loves to win races and when she gets good she stays good, she comes off a nice last win and now gets her first start off the Mike Puype claim. No. 5 Woebegon got caught down the lane by Resume in her last start and will try and outrun that one once again. 3-5

No. 2 Power Ped has some interesting works for this 1-1/8 turf route. No. 3 Cervaro also has been working well for this. No. 6 Brother Pete is the stablemate of Cervaro and has a shot. 2-3-6

THE GRADE 1 LAS VIRGENES

3yo fillies go a mile for a purse of 300k. The Empire Maker filly No. 6 Sushi Empire looked good winning  the Blue North at this mile distance on the grass, if she can handle the dirt she will be hard to beat. No. 7 Taste Like Candy is proven on dirt and can go long being by Candy Ride her stablemate No. 4 Artemis is another Empire Maker in here and she just broke her maiden going a mile on the dirt. The filly to beat looks to be No. 8 Streaming who has won both of her starts including the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlite, but she has never been on dirt but her works say wow! 4-6-7-8

Race 8

THE GRADE 2 200K ARCADIA 

Tom Proctor who has been on fire sends out No. 1 Procurement who just missed in his last here at this mile turf distance and the fast improving bug boy Drayden Vandyke gets the call. Trainer John Sadler has put some fast works into No. 2 Vagabond Shoes who will be flying late, he will find these much easier than the ones he faced in the BC Turf. Kent Desormeaux who was on first last week rides No. 3 Unbridled’s Note for Steven Asmussen, look out. 1-2-3

Race 9

In the near future you will see trainer A.C. Avilia hook up with his old buddy Omar Berrio and score a huge upset. They hook up in here on first time starter No. 3 It Is Living Water who just could be the one. No. 7 Profire is the one to beat with the big drop to this 20k maiden claimer form straight maidens. No. 8 Rob’s Pal gets his second start at this level and will be right there. No. 13 Dehere IS Gone did not run all that bad in his first start for a 30k claiming tag and the drop can only help his chances. 3-7-8-13

Race 1

No. 1 Afsana is in from the South looking for the maiden breaker but she will need to deal with No. 2 French Tart. 1-2

Race 2

No. 2 Ornery Strike is a first time starter out of the barn of Jeff Bonde who can strike with a first time starter. No. 4 Chilcotin is in from Emerald Downs and looks very dangerous with Baze getting the call.

Race 3

No. 4 Tricky Shane gets off the grass and that could get him home as he has a win and a second from his two starts here on this synthetic surface. No. 5 Ezio has won four of his six starts here along with a second and a third. 4-5

Race 4

No. 3 Sticktothescript is a first time starter for Jerry Hollendorfer who hits at around 36% with his debut maiden claiming first time starters. No. 4 Whodoo Pirate is a first time starter for Bill Morey and this one has some real nice works. 3-4

No. 10 High Tide Line looks to have found a spot for the win. No. 8 American Aristocat will try and run him down. 8-10

Race 6

This is a very soft group of 8k maiden claimers so we will opt for first time starter No. 4 Woodsie Party who looks very live in this spot at a fair price. 4

Race 7

Baze gets back on No. 1 Global Warming who he rode one race back for the maiden breaker. No. 6 Tiz Partners beat Global Warming last time out. Juan Hernandez who was on Global Warming last time opts for No. 10 Zeva who will be making a late run. 1-6-10

No. 1 G.G. Ryder has found a home since coming here from Hollywood. No. 5 Maximum Maximum went wire-to-wire in his first start and now becomes claim proof in this starter allowance race. No. 7 Almosttoomuchfun exits our HTW list off a narrow loss and now gets his first start off the Bill Morey claim. No. 8 Happy Idea shipped to Santa Anita and got the win at 2/1 and now is back. 1-5-7-8
