SANTA ANITA

Race 1

No. 1 Ryderroo drops into a maiden claimer for the first-time and gets back to a sprint, she will find a very fast early pace and it could set her up at a nice price, No. 2 Fast Moka Too comes off a long layoff but this mare may be able to sit chilly off the pace, if so she has a shot. 1-2

Race 2

No. 3 Craving Carats had his race and now will go long on the grass and he has won two of his four starts going a mile on the grass, No. 4 Mind the Master gets a little drop in class and has the ability to sit back and make one run. No. 5 Anythingscookin is the speed of the speed. 3-4-5

Race 3

No. 4 Sister Esperanza and No. 5 Blushing Martha who gets off the grass look like the only two that can come from off the pace if the three front runners get into a heated speed duel. 4-5

Race 4

No. 3 Roman Tizzy gets off the grass and drops into a maiden claimer for the first-time, No. 7 Fearsome Charisma ran his best race when stretched out last time and that could set him up for a big effort today at a price. 3-7

THE 75K JOE HERNANDEZ

We go down the hill in the Joe Hernandez, No. 3 Zimmer gets a major boast in class off of his huge win going down the hill when shipped in from Florida, he may be this good and he will need to be at the top of his game in order to handle No. 5 Unbridled’s Note who has won three of his six starts going down the hill against top company. No. 6 Sweet Swap gets his second off the layoff and is as steady as they come. 5-6

Race 9

It’s very interesting that jockey Kent Desormeaux hangs around to ride the last race and a 20k maiden claimer at that, if he does ride No. 2 Indygo Andy we will be all over this 4yo colt who just missed in his last start here going 1-1/8, No. 7 We Have Lift Off drops into a maiden claimer and gets off the grass, he may find himself on the front end, if so he could get very brave. 2-7

No. 1 Telly Tenacious is a first-time starter that looks live and the price will be right, he will need to rate off a hot pace, No. 8 Showmeister will get a turn back in distance and Baze will sit behind the hot pace and try and run then down. 1-8

Exacta box 1-8
