We get 3yo 20k maiden fillies going 5½ furlongs and five of the eight are first time starters and of the ones that have run we will pass. The two first time starters that we like are No. 6 Jalapenobusiness out of the barn of Peter Eurton and he puts the bug boy Gonzalo Nicolas in the irons and No. 8 Blind Dreams is out of the barn of A C Avila who has been very unlucky at the meet and he is still looking for his first winner along with his jockey Omar Berrio. 6-8

Race 2

No. 3 Sweetrayofsunshine comes off the 11 month layoff for Bill Spawr and Bejarano gets the call. This mare has won 4 of her 5 starts here along with a second. No. 4 Clearly Confused has won 3 of her last 4 starts and gets her first start off the claim and a big move up in class, she losses Bejarano who moves to sunshine but gets Mike Smith. 3-4

Race 3

No. 2 Tiz Molly gets her second start off the layoff and also gets off the grass, the one time she ran on this dirt she won. No. 4 Peppy Bolly did not take to the wet strip last time out but was a good winner one race back on a fast track. No. 5 Our Pure Creation will be on or near the front end and is in top form.

On paper only two horses can win this race, its either No. 4 Take a Risk who exits our HTW list of a near miss last time out or No. 5 Goyan who drops two levels for trainer Carla Gaines who hits at .50% with this double drop move. 4-5

The key filly in this 1-1/8 turf route is No. 5 Scooter Bird who exits our HTW list off a very troubled last race. She gets Mike Smith today and should get the wining trip, we will use her first and second in the trifecta with No. 2 Sweet Red Cat, No. 3 Ginger Tap, No. 6 Passionae Diva who may be the speed of the speed in here and No. 7 Feline Forum who also exits our HTW list. 5**-2-3-6-7

We will use two that are exiting the same race: No. 2 Gouyen who finished a troubled 4th as the 3/2 favorite and No. 12 Shakeitupbetty who finished second after battling tooth and nail from the bell.

Race 1

No. 2 Soul Crazy looks to be sitting on the maiden breaker at this mile distance. No. 5 Tigermania gets the stretchout in this her second start after a fast closing second in her first start. 2-5

Race 2

No. 1 Go Wheeler Go woke up when dropped to this level last time out. No. 3 Toosmartbyhalf drops trying to find his correct level. No. 5 Square Jimmer is the stablemate of Wheeler and gets Baze. 1-3-5

Race 3

No. 5 Pete’s Slew will be gunning from the bell and will try and hold off No. 4 Convoy who gets Juan Hernandez back. 4-5

Race 4

No. 1 Anytime Magic moves up off the win but has won for a higher price tag than this in the past. No. 5 Taramo drops into a good spot and gets Carr back. No. 6 Roving Storm has the Hollendorfer/Baze connections. 1-5-6

Race 5

We will go singling in this race and use No. 2 Jumanah who is back to the level of her last win one race back and she has won 6 times on the grass. 2

Race 6

We will use the speed and the closer in here with the speed being No. 6 Mingo who has never been without the early lead in all five of his starts, the one that will try and run him down will be No. 7 Dynamo Dixie the big dropper. 6-7

Race 7

We end the day with fillies and mares going a mile on the grass. No. 2 Sweet Millicent drops for Hollendorfer and gets Baze and the one time he rode this filly he got the win. No. 7 Sheza Trip broke her maiden on this turf course. No. 8 Moon Ride broke her maiden on the Santa Anita turf with better and looks the one to beat. 2-7-8
