SANTA ANITA

Race 1

We start one of the worst cards I have seen in a while at Santa Anita. No. 4 Bad Behavior is a Baffert dropper with big early speed. No. 5 Como Mi Padre gets off the grass drops back down and now gets Bejarano. No. 7 Merlion is a first time starter who could pop at a price. 4-5-7

Race 2

In this 1-1/16 route for 8k claimers we have 6 entered before scratches and none of the 6 have won at the distance. No. 5 Joint Attempt is in decent form and the drop to this level makes her the one to beat.

5

Race 3

No. 3 Nueva Fortuna comes off a nice win, she has speed and may stand the rise in class facing winners for the first time. No. 4 Sneezy Beezy is in town from the Gate for a sharp trainer. 3-4

Race 4

This is one bad mile turf race. No. 1 Warren’s Cliff S. gets our push and he may be a square price for the low profile connections. 1

Race 5

This is a very bad 20k maiden claimer for 4yo and up fillies and mares. No. 4 Marthajean is a 5yo mare making her first start against some real bad girls, we will give her a big shot for a top barn and rider.

4

Win and place 4

Race 6

Finally we get a decent race. No. 2 In Dad’s Honor is in top form and now will try the grass. No. 3 An Unusual Group won going down the hill in her first grass try and now will go a mile on the green, we say can do! No. 9 Anniversary Kitty gets some class relief and will be the one to fear late and the likely chalk.

2-3-9

Race 7

No. 6 Midnight Dream gets back on a fast track. No. 8 Satirical won at first asking when sent off at 2/1 and now the usually careful papa Mandella puts her in the Santa Paula, he must really like what he has. No. 9 Taste Like Candy has been facing some tough girls and will find these much easier, she will be odds on in here. 6-8-9

Race 8

No. 1 Cee’s Tizzy Belle ran a big race fist out of the box going a mile on the grass last year at Del Mar and now comes back 7 months later and her trainer Mary Jones who is real good with comebackers sends her down the hill. No. 4 Jennyway U Want just missed going down the hill back on March 14th and has a big last work for this. 1-4

GOLDEN GATE

Race 1

No. 1 Lindz Winz has been very popular in the claim box as she has been claimed from her last two stars and now goes for Hollendorfer. 1

Race 2

No. 4 Cat Pirate comes off a 7 month layoff for O’Neill who has won with 5 of his 15 starters here. No. 6 Los Tres Bohemios is in good form and has the speed to be dangerous on the move up. 4-6

Race 3

No. 1 Yomybato comes to town for Hollendorfer and gets the drop in class looking for a win. No. 4 Shaun Washington is the stablemate of Yomybato as Hollendorfer looks to have this race covered. 1-4

Race 4

No. 1 Six Votes will sit right off the pace and get them on the line. 1

Race 5

No. 6 Evasive Charmer has been right there in her last two starts and just missed by a head at this level one race back. No. 7 Snackable lost by a neck in her last race and fits at this level. 6-7

Race 6

No. 6 Rule Breaker got the win last time out and looks solid right back for solid connections. No. 7 Uncle Enroy beat the breaker of rules on race back and it looks like those two again. 6-7

Race 7

No. 4 Fly Blue gets his first start off of the Steve Sherman claim. No. 6 Atomic Rule is he speed and he also gets his first start off the claim by Tim McCanna. No. 7 Noble Kent exits our HTW list and will be running them down late. 4-6-7**

Key exacta box 7 with 4-6 and a trifecta box 4-6-7

Race 8

No. 2 Falana gets a needed drop in class as does No. 5 Ninnavee and No. 6 Vistarella but the filly we like is the first time starter No. 4 Casltedonovan Lass for Bill Morey, she looks ready to fire a big shot. 2-4**-5-6
