First-time starter No. 1 West Riding is a $280k Juddmonte Farms purchase and trainer Baffert puts Mike Smith in the irons, No. 6 Live for Now has had her chances, she comes off a good second in the Grade 2 Summer Oaks, she will be around late but her win spirit is suspect. 1-6

This one is scheduled to go a flat mile on the grass, No. 4 Number Five gets his first start off the Jeff Mullins claim, he looks set for a big run today after his this one is very wide open. 4

No. 1 Jedi Mind Trick won both of his starts here last year including the I’m Smokin, he hasn’t hit the board since but is a must use as he will woke up on the synthetic, No. 4 Rocked Twice is the stablemate of Jedi and won his only start on the synthetic surface. No. 6 Red N Black Attack exits our HTW list and gets his claimed price doubled, trainer Belvoir must like what he bought, this one really woke up in his last start after being gelded. 1-4-6

No. 1 L X Sunrise is a place players dream horse finishing second in her last six starts, No. 6 Nero’s Pleasure gets off the grass and will wake up with the drop to this level. 2yo maidens scheduled to go a flat mile on the grass, trainer Cody Autrey has never done well here but he sends out what looks to be a very live first-time starter in No. 3 Dallas Skyline who is sired by top turf sire Scat Daddy and Kent D gets the call, trainer Make Casse who brought a loaded barn here looking for the shipper bonus is still looking for a win, he sends out first-time starter No. 6 Mr. Chase with Mike Smith and he also sends out first-time starter No. 10 Bollente with Stewart Elliott getting the call. 3-6-10

This looks like a cold two horse race between No. 1 Atta’ Boy Woody who exits our HTW list off a resounding maiden breaker when sent off at 7/5 and No. 7 Wake Up Nick who is looking for his third straight win, his last came in the Santa Anita Juvenile. 1-7

No. 5 Coyotero ran a nice even race in his one and only start and has a good last work here on the 20th, No. 12 A C’s Crackerjack drops into a maiden claimer in this his second start and Van Dyke gets the call for Tom Proctor, it’s wake up time. 5-12

No. 3 Tip Top Lady is a Jeff Bonde first-time starter in a very soft field, No. 5 Grantmeawish just did miss in her last and is the filly to beat. No. 6 Her Again is the stablemate of Grantmeawish and is a first-time starter who draws Baze. 3-5-6

No. 3 Giant Journey gets her first shot at going long and first on the grass, her breeding says yes, No. 5 Starfire Mist just broke her maiden on the Golden Gate grass. 3-5

No. 2 Lady Lionheart ran her best race when dropped to this level and the move to dirt, No. 4 Moonlight Stroll gets the big drop in class. 2-4

They go sprinting 5 furlongs on the grass, No. 3 Whilly Pink ran a good second at this distance on the Golden Gate turf course, if No. 4 Unmatched Force takes to the grass he has a big shot. No. 7 Mommy Go Too will be the one running them all down late. 3-4-7
