Straight maidens go down the hill, Drayden Van Dyke gets on first-time starter No. 4 Mal Verde for John Sadler who has put some very good works into this 3yo gelding, Sadler also sends out No. 6 Sunny Kat off the layoff, he will be much faster as a 3yo. 4-6

Lots and lots of early speed in here, the two that will benefit are the two sitting outside, No. 6 Time For Angie who drops to a better level and No. 7 Milady Maid off the long layoff for trainer Art Sherman. 6-7

Race 4

No. 7 Visions of Candy just broke her maiden and now gets her first taste of the grass, being by Candy Ride she will like it, No. 2 Ascription just missed at this mile distance for a 50k price tag back in January. 2-7

Race 5

No. 8 Fly to Freedom was claimed for 40k by Peter Miller and then ran twice against straight maidens finishing a good second and third, she now drops in with 50k maiden claimers and is the one to beat. 8

Maiden fillies go down the hill, No. 3 Miss Super Quick has a super quick work here on the 20th and ran a good second in her one try going down the hill. No. 5 Burning Arch is a first-time starter with the breeding and Mike Smith. No. 11 Not too Shiny ran a nice even race in her first start and now gets a great post. 3-5-11

No. 5 Los Bambinos gets his first start off the claim and will find the right pace to make his last run, we will single. 5

THE GRADE III WILSHIRE AT A MILE ON THE GRASS

No. 2 Parranda makes her way here from Gulfstream Park and lands in the barn of Jerry Hollendorfer and he puts Bejarano in the irons, trainer Tom Proctor sends out two and Gary Stevens rode both last time out and he opts for No. 5 Theatre Star while Mike Smith gets on the other Proctor runner No. 3 Premier Steps. No. 1 Moone’s My Name looked good winning from this post position last time out going this mile turf distance as she sat off the pace and came late. 1-2-3-5

20k maiden fillies and mares end the late pick four, No. 6 Cleverly Beverly has had her chances and now gets her 7th straight new jockey as Geovanni Franco will try and get her home on top, No. 7 Shared Image drops in for a 20k tag after facing much tougher in her last two. No. 8 My Wish Come True gets her second start, she was well bet in her one and only and will go much better today with the extra half a furlong. No. 9 West Coast Storm also gets her second start and drops from a 30k maiden claimer. 6-7-8-9

No. 3 My Gal Candy just missed in her last start by a neck when beating the third place finisher Linda Wintz who came back to score. 3

Race 3 No. 1 Man From Lagos gets his first start off the Steve Sherman claim and Juan Hernandez takes over. No. 4 Gutshot Straight is looking for his third straight. Baze gets on the speedy No. 5 Full Instinct who will try and take them wire-to-wire. 1-4-5

Race 3

No. 4 Maidens Justice is an 8yo who still has plenty of run in him, he will find a fast early pace to set up his late run. 4

Race 4

No. 1 Golden Mexico keeps rattling off wins here on this turf course, with his last win he now has won five of his eight turf starts here, No. 2 Gab Power exits our HTW list and now will stretch out on the grass. No. 5 Rockin’ Melody will try and turn the tables on Mexico and he gets his first start off the Hollendorfer claim and we know what jock gets the call. No. 8 Bardy gets a little drop in class and will be making a late run. 1-2-5-8

No. 2 Time Jumper gets back to a mile, a distance he just missed at one race back, No. 5 Stand by Your Man gets the stretch out off a big last work. 2-5

No. 2 Stop the Clock is back to the surface and distance of his maiden breaker, No. 7 Our Smokin Hero ran second in both of his turf starts. No. 1 More Champagne will like the move to the grass and he will get a good early pace to set up his late run. 1-2-7

If No.  4 Grantbobbiawish can run back to his race here on March the 1st, she can win but that is a very big if. No. 7 Beddy Slew drops, gets off the grass and back to a sprint. 4-7

No. 6 English Lace gets back on the grass and that will make her tough in here, No. 8 Heat Du Jour comes if from Santa Anita and lands in the barn of Steve Sherman, she won in her one turf attempt going this 1-1/16. 6-8

Race 9

No. 2 This One’s for Mat drops into a good spot and will get a fast early pace to make his late run. 2
