Race 1

They took a shot with No. 1 Dublin Up in the Grade I Santa Anita Derby and he split the field, he is now back with maidens and will go on the grass a surface he will like. No. 4 Sammy Mandeville exits our HTW list, he will like this longer distance after closing fast going down the hill. 1-4

Race 2

No. 2 Bayview Drive exits our HTW list off a very troubled trip last time out, he has been in steady work mood since and looks ready. No. 5 Candir is a $360k purchase who is making his first start off some big works and his dam has dropped 4 winners from 4 starters 3 of which won stakes races. 2-5

Race 3

No. 1 Mr. Jealous just won for $16k and now is in for $8k but Bejarano sticks. No. 3 Xuang Feng drops back to the level of his near miss and he gets a break in the weights. No. 8 Shoer Hugh ran far back behind Mr. Jealous last time out by now trainer Aguirre puts his go to jock on board so look for a turnaround. 1-3-8

Race 4

No. 1 Nashoba’s Gold has really turned into a big time runner for trainer Carla Gaines and she has given this filly two good turf works since her last win when beating the very tough filly No. 5 Diversy Harbor who she will need to beat again today. 1-5

Exacta box 1-5

Race 5

No. 5 L X Sunrise gets her first start off the claim and she gets the hot riding Tyler Baze up. No. 7 Madame Forbes comes off the layoff, she moves up in class but gets Bejarano to ride, interesting. 5-7

4th 1-5

5th 5-7

Race 6

Down the hill they go. No. 6 Toomuchinformation had a bad trip off the layoff when going down the hill, he will find a hot early pace and could pop at a price. No. 12 Solid Wager faced all the big boys as a 2yo and was the 3/1 favorite against California Chrome in the Graduation Stakes at Del Mar last year. 6-12

Race 7

No. 2 Reno Rebel just broke his maiden at this 7 furlong trip. No. 10 Airfoil exits our HTW list as a $$$ play, he will get a great outside trip. 2-10

Race 1

No. 3 Our April Love will show all of her speed with the drop to this level, bet her to cash.

Race 2

No. 5 My Game looks like the only runner in here with a shot but the bug boy has yet to win a race, today could be his day. 5

Race 3

As we continue this very bad card No. 4 Fishinkonablue looks odds on with these. 4

Race 4

Another bad race so we must go with the two best riders Baze on No. 3 Hollywood Fredie and Hernandez on No. 5 Langston. 3-5

Race 5

$20k maiden fillies and mares going 1-1/16 on the grass and it looks like none of these can or want to win. No. 1 Dixieland Holiday at least has only been out five times so we give her a shot. No. 4 Little Unusual gets her second shot here and may go better today and No. 6 Kylee’s Star is in from Santa Anita and gets back on the grass. 1-4-6

$8k 3yo maidens and someone will actually win this race. No. 2 Bart the Barrister was claimed for $30k one race back at Santa Anita and now shows up here in the barn of Steve Sherman for $8k, not a good claim.
